Hi,

I owned Proton Saga FL (aged one & half years old & mileage 15k).

I wanted to ask anyone actually experienced the sound of "metal brushes with metal" by the rear tyres. It only happened when i drive my car early in the morning at a slow speed. The sound also can be heard when i stepped on my brakes.

May I know what am I supposed to do with it ?

I went to a mechanic shop nearby to ask and was told perfectly normal.

Thanks.

Most probably from your rear drumbrakes. my bet is they are jammed.

Jack up your rear wheels, release handbrake and try to spin the wheel.

Hi,

I am driving a BLM Proton Saga FL 2011. I experienced recently that my car difficult to ignite at the first ignition attempt but eventually it started on 2nd ignition all the time.

I was told by the mechanic in proton service centre that this car model experiences this kind of problem. He told me that the engine's petrol pump have insufficient power to pump "up" the petrol into engine. Thats why the first ignition unable to start up the engine.

I was adviced to purchase RON97 instead.

I just did a major service last week.
Checked car battery, still functional..

Does anyone experiences this problem??
Any advice?

Thanks.

Whoever tell you to pump RON97 into a Saga so that it works better should, to quote an unker, go fark his own a$$ with his own d!ck.

Try this: when twisting your key to the second notch (just before ignition), you will hear a "weeeeeee" sound from your rear seat. That's your fuel pump. After a few seconds the sound will stop. After that only start cranking your engine.

Hi,
I am driving proton saga FL (BLM).
I noticed the front suspension emit some "sound" when I u-turn to the right n left. Most of the time, the road is with small holes or imbalance (not flat surface). Like new roads covered with new tars, when i u-turn, no such sound emitted.
The sound is like the suspension hardens.

1. Is it because of my front suspension loses it power (springy)?

2. OR the road is imbalance (holes or the surface is not flat)?

If suspension is having problem, can claim warranty by proton? My car is less than 3years old.

Need some advice..
Thanks..
