Proton BLM 2.5 years car
1st issue: Getting my new car for juz one month, aircond issue. Seem the thermistor malfunction and whereby unable to cutoff the aircond causing it to become too cold and freeze up... Smoke coming out from the aircond.
Sending it to proton service center during first service, the biggest one in penang island. They say will check and fix it... After getting back my car still find out the same issue happen. Went back one week later, they say actually this service center didnt solve aircond issue. They give to other small aircon specialist company to solve aircond issue...LOL... Went to the shop they suggest, formen say proton BLM have many of this kind of issue....
2nd issue: After nine month, started to realize something happen on my car paint... Seem like not smooth anymore. I wax it everymonth with turtle wax platinum series wax and put my car at indoor car park. Is like it begin to feel like having corrosion or something...

Iswara aeroback 2002 1.3 Manual. When braking got screeching sound. Changed brakepad 3 times last year, twice the previous year. Problem came back after one week every time. Skim brake, problem came back. Frustated so, change brake pad and brake disc bcoz mechanic said need to skim again. Skim rm 70 but new bosch brake disc rm 120. problem came back in one week. Sixth workshop, finally the mech said bushing worn out, thus lower arm caused the screeching sound when braking coz rubbing against something else that connect the arm to the car itself. Been driving for almost two years with screeching brake and endangering everybody coz 5 mechanics just cant find the real problem. Makes me wanna go and be a mechanic myself (if i am a man and can do all the heavy work). Mechanic with a brain and not just try this try that for money sake . Can we have one thread for workshop with good reputation with proof and backed up by other ?

That's your gearbox warning indicator. Send to SC to check immediately. Since it only appears when accelerating, suspect is belt slip or clutch slip. QUOTE(ryanpoon @ Feb 27 2013, 05:27 PM) got the same problem but only the front left and right doors on my Saga FLX SE(1 month old car).send it back to SC and was taken 3 hours to check the noise.Lastly they say is some instrument and screw loose. But after few days, the same some occurs and now what can be done is turn on the player volume louder. SAME PROBLEM!!!! IM NOT ALONE YAY! I suppose some noise must be tolerated but it is f*cking annoying nonetheless. I wonder if we took it to professional sound proofing ppl they could fix it. Also yeah remote unlock spoil after 3 weeks saga flx se. You would think the most expensive of the saga range would get better treatment but no. Same idiots churning out the same second rate sh*t.

My service is due not too long so will ask them whats the problem Rear drumbrakes. It is a known issue. Best solution is to replace it with new drums. Go to COSE if you are in KL, or contact iCare to see which nearest SC can replace for you.

Change absorber first, it is wear and year item, normal to wear out after so many years. After that see if it improves.

I bought a second hand Wira SE year 2004 in 2012. Part that change:- 1. Water Pump Hose 2. Water pump itself 3. Clutch set 4. All four absorber-use Sachs Abs...pretty good. 5. Rear Disc Brake
Yesterday, aircond bearing kong....replace at RM59.00...aiseh...its second hand..what to do.
Already heard some tak..tak sound at front tyre...I guess my money will be gone sooner or later.

I won a Saga BLM 2010 variant.
the thing is, my left fog light has gone kaput recently. Right fog light is working fine, though.
Question is; what could go wrong? Is it the fuse, or the mentol itself?
