That is not how co-branded credit card JV works. In most cases, the credit card issuing bank has to pay the partner for their rewards. Read up how American Express lost a major partner because VISA offered better incentives to make a major airline to switch to VISA.

You shall suggest to Maybank+Shopee to give some exclusive free shipping vouchers to Maybank-Shopee CC users, not complaining why Shopee+ShopeePay offer extra free shipping vouchers exclusively to ShopeePay users!

And just now at 12.00 p.m., I received notification for free shipping vouchers for RM 9, collected them as well.

hi all - i have recevied my 1st statement on this shopeexmbb card and it say they transfer 9xx points to shopee but till now never see shopee coin increase.

good news is the 5k welcome bonus is reflected


but you see here in statement 9xx transfer to shopee, how come not reflected?

Actually this is a valid and constructive feedback for MBB and Shopee.
I believe their cooperation aims to attract more users into MBB AND Shopee.
However, based on current scenario, it looks like Shopee is getting bigger share than MBB.
As I mentioned previously, I foresee Shopee Card user to enjoy same free shipping voucher as Shopeepay, in order to keep the balance between MBB and Shopee.

Regarding free shipping voucher, yes, Shopee has taken away the most important free shipping voucher for this month.
Currently there are 3 types of shipping voucher:
1) All Sellers (usually need to spend RM40)
2) RM15 Free Shipping Seller (limited shops with RM15 Free Shipping)
3) RM9 Free Shipping Seller (new, probably only for this month)

#1 All Sellers Free Shipping voucher is the most important and accepted for all.
Usually I will only use this "All Sellers" shipping voucher.
For July, we get one with Shopeepay and one without (can use CC).
For August, we get TWO with Shopeepay + another one under PENJANA but this is limited to "Shopee Mall"

Exactly my point. They removed the shipping vouchers.

Like MBB should speak to Shopee about it. That despite their partnerships, they are removing everything they can for MBB users to earn points.
Let's be real, who wants to pay for shipping when there's an obvious "FREE SHIPPING" choice there using ShopeePay.

That is why I was curious why so many people wanted to take up this CC! Maybe for 5000 coins!

Not only free shipping vouchers, shupee coins @ 25% of order value, 3000 coins/daily and 3 month validity will be another problem to be raised by Maybank-Shopee CC users who are new to Shopee platform.

Frankly speaking, the best deal is not always on the actual day of 9/9, 10/10, 11/11, 12/12 and 28th of every month! So why limit yourself to spend on this particular days only!

You can get the best deals without Maybank-Shopee CC!

Yes, I don't bother to have it too.
Maybe it was launched at the correct timing, when MBB cut tie with FCB.
I will suggest to wait for a few months and see whether MBB / Shopee is making effort to improve the benefits.

Frankly speaking, I have been using Shopee for years and now I am starting to compare with Lazada before purchase.
Previously, I don't even bother to look at Lazada, but since few months ago, I am trying hard to buy more from Lazada, especially after the reduction of Shopee free shipping vouchers.
Hopefully MBB can figure out the limited usage of their new card and demand more from Shopee.

Question - even i have 4000 coins when i try to purchase like a desk they dont allow me to use up all my coins - anyone know why? Is this normal?

base on my calculation it show that i can redeem about 25% of the product value into coins - see screenshot

yup, u cannot use all. got cap on limit per transaction. only can use all if coin is less before hit limit. cannot remember the limit

Facing the same issue like you.. Coins not transferred, mbb told to wait till mth end for them to rectify the issue..

I didn't say ShopeePay is redundant. Its one more of step of nothingness! And what's the point of having MBB CC when they force you to use ShopeePay for everything, especially when all of us want the free shipping. And the MBB CC can't even earn extra coins from that?

Update: anyways, dont want to argue already. I will just cut off this card seeing there's no further incentives and continue to use my other CC. boo.

lol...hope not the case for grab card. Just an update to everyone that i got my 1k grabpoint after 1 day insert as payment on grab app & top up rm50.
Initially i thought need to wait for physical card activation.

Then on m2u, after a day it listed my transaction rm50.

Wow! super fast and better integration between maybank and grab. No doubt on it since last time can link to MAE/Maybank saving for auto top up.
