That is Maxis Business Fibre, they'll provide a different router usually the Aminia MA131 which comes built in with a SIM slot.

Maxis standalone Home Fibre plans do not enjoy this backup option unless you're a MaxisONE Prime account.

My office is also using this Aminia router which also has a backup SIM but the mobile backup link is usually very weak because it will connect to Band 7 which operates at 2600MHz which has very weak indoor coverage.

Candy12, maybe is Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Fiber package

Actually I'm not too sure what the real cause of the delay. If u say the problem was with OLT, I dont think so (in my own opinion) cos I dont see anythg happening at the exchange.
*
Not problem with OLT, new allocated ports for the newer areas not online and litted yet. Must follow official schedule rollout plan. The passive section build out was ahead of schedule. Need to wait for the equipment vendor to set up the active switching side to "light up" turn on the passive side of infrastructure.

Are you sure the poles are for TNB Allo Fibre optic cables?

They have purple color stamps on it with Allo logo instead of regular TNB logo.

Batu Gajah is commercial area right? Is Allo venturing into fibre business plans?
Normally Allo poles are planted behind residential homes to place their FDP boxes and run cables on them.

For backhaul they'll just use their regular TNB poles to run them where ever its convenient.

At the moment there is no any indication that it is for Allo other than it was install by TNB contractors but then why would they install this poles when the Taman already have electric supply from TNB. 😁

I think maybe this additional poles are for house blocks that don't have TNB electrical poles infront house. 🤔

Edit:-
There, jimmythw have confirm it..

“ To date, Allo has embarked its fiberisation network nationwide and provided 17,000 homepasses in Melaka (Jasin, Alor Gajah, Malim Jaya and Ayer Keroh) and 9,800 in Menglembu, Perak.

We have a few projects in the pipeline to provide our service for 41,000 homes in Perak to be completed by this year-end”

If your area is already covered presently by Unifi, hopes are slim. Many popular areas in Ipoh such as Pasir Putih/Pinji, CBD, Bercham, Simee, Ipoh Gardens and Jelapang also not being covered.

Nice news. I'm waiting for it to come to Selangor too especially rural and outside city area like mine. TM is being a joker here. My place already got FDC and FDP but TM decided to put it only on 1 street since it near to Surau. The purpose of it to put on the surau only. So, 7 houses will received the line. Other streets are in plan but don't know when will they start pulling the fibre back. It's been 1 month now and no activity. Maybe if Allo suddenly come and then they will start pulling faster then before. Smh
