QUOTE(Ziet Inv @ Oct 28 2020, 01:05 AM) Just to update, TDA SG finally e-mailed me after my application since early September (or late August). Just requesting for further info and validating a few ones too. Also, since I'm not qualified to complete the Customer Account Review (CAR) document, I was directed to complete the SGX SIP Module which is done within 30 minutes (thanks to google lol!) Waiting for their further response I also receive same email to complete SGX quiz, but facing some problem during create SGX account which primary broker firm and secondary broker firm you choose?

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Oct 26 2020, 01:19 AM) Think or swim is now TD. Depends on how you look at it. TD does not have access to other markets. Not to mentioned there's some pretty heavy withdrawal fees while IBKR give one free withdrawal a month. You can forget about reply. They get backlog because they offer zero commission. So I heard they are still processing march application. Ramjade Wow, $0 commission now. What's the withdrawal fees like? Couldn't find it anywhere in the FAQ

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Oct 31 2020, 07:52 AM) Usd25/withdrawal + subjected to markup exchange rates by Malaysian banks. Ramjade Thanks. TD mentioned that funding in S$ (no problem here as have Sg bank account). Do you know what exchange rate they use to convert S$ to USD when buying US stocks? For FSM Singapore, we actually have to convert to USD using their forex rates which we can see how much it is first (before buying). If the conversion rate from S$ to US$ for TD is not good, no point using even if $0 commission. Any idea if they convert all our S$ at once when we do funding or they just convert it each time we want to buy? This post has been edited by abcn1n: Oct 31 2020, 02:36 PM

Not the best rate but slightly cheaper than banks. Cannot beat IBKR rates though. If you sign up for autosweep, they auto convert for you. QUOTE(GamaX320 @ Oct 31 2020, 03:21 PM) if withdrawal from td, can bank in to any msia bank account? Can. Kena charge USD25/withdrawal (TD side) + and additional charges by Malaysian banks + markup exchange rate courtesy of Malaysian banks = you get less money back.

Wanna ask anyone who tries TDASG and WEBULL, I have questions.
Webull deposit 12.5USD withdraw 45USD where as TDASG deposit (Free?) withdraw 25USD.
Apart of that any other difference?
I am new to this and just got my account approve from Webull and found out TDASG trade are now zero fee as well. Before i dump money into one of them, wanna know which one is better.
Thanks.

QUOTE(eddysh @ Aug 4 2020, 09:25 AM) Hey, anyone have try using transfer USD from CIMB SG to TD Ameritrade? Yesterday, using Maybank2u transfer USD to TD Ameritrade has been charged USD25 for transaction. Maybank side charge RM10 and AD ameritrade charged USD25. Transfer USD1,000, account show USD975. How do you send money in USD from your maybank2u account to TD ameritrade? Do i need a special maybank2u account to hold USD? because i know my maybank2u account is in MYR.
