QUOTE(JuzJoe @ Jan 27 2021, 12:24 PM) I just installed ToS on my new computer, and it's taking forever to "update" is it normal or should I be concern? depending on your computer's speed & Internet line's bandwidth. my older PC (2015) takes like 5mins+ just to update my newer 2020 PC takes like 1min+

Wasted hours searching online for solution.

A question for those who use TD Ameritrade, is there any advantage of TDA over IBKR/TSG? Or is it just a matter of preference?
Why did you guys choose to open a TDA account instead of IBKR/TSG?
I am thinking of venturing into US markets. Need to collect some info from the veterans here.

No derivative for me. I guess I will just use IBKR/TSG that I am already using now, save the hassle of opening a new brokerage account. Thanks for the info dwrk.

Thanks. Guess TOS is still one of the best software out there. Will using VPN help with regards to ip ban. Not tech savvy and do not have VPN, but I read that for certain websites that Malaysia ban, you can access it via VPN.

Usually USD40-50/year. If you are like me lucky to land a lifetime VPN deal, you just pay once.

QUOTE(abcn1n @ Feb 1 2021, 09:34 PM) Ramjade Thanks. What VPN is good? I always thought VPN was free but guess I was wrong. I use windscribe. Cyberghost, private internet access is also good. If windscribe offer me lifetime license again, I am more than happy to buy. This post has been edited by Ramjade: Feb 2 2021, 02:09 AM
