Guys, how long did TD Ameritrade SG process your new application when opening an account? It's already 3 weeks since I lodge my application and submit the documents required but still haven't got any confirmation from them. Also, no one from their customer service is answering my calls. I read poor CS of TDASG

Have you faced challenges in dealing with their CS, withdrawal procedures as well? This post has been edited by rafurap: Jul 26 2020, 10:58 AM

Yes, still using it. Haven’t done any withdrawals yet as I’m trying to grow my portfolio but funding is a breeze. $25 will be deducted for the transaction. Got myself realtime data as well without paying. For me, I prefer TOS than IB. Of course, account opening is annoying and I need to do that SGX exam as well as one of their pre req.

Sorry, what is this SGX exam for? With regard to funding, is there still a limit of 10K RM for non-Malaysians doing FTT?

(I funded into Well Fargo Bank) How about withdrawal? As per TD Ameritrade website "Outgoing Wire Transfers" is USD25. If i withdrawal USD1,000 and fund into my maybank (or other bank) account. The TDA. charged USD25 and then maybank (or other bank) will charge incoming fund?

Whether your local bank will charge fee for the handling of the wire transfer, you have to check with your local bank on the fees. This post has been edited by labtec: Aug 4 2020, 05:26 PM

Unless you own any DBS/POSB account at SG where it costs $0 transfer fee for online electronic transfer.

QUOTE(night1218 @ Aug 10 2020, 12:18 AM) TSG. After account opening you deal directly with IKBR as I understand. I use IKBR app, services etc. TSG is transparent to me.

I heard news that TD in USA is down for 2 days. Does TD Singapore being affected too?
TD Singapore is having zero commission fee to trade US stock. Does that mean buying and selling US stock does not need to pay any brokerage fee and other fees?
