I tried buying yesterday night.. but have gotten this error:

" Rejected: On this account you cannot open new equity positions"

anybody knows why?

Total fee is SGD 40 .

Regret putting my SSN in my td ameritrade registration form. I used to study and work in the us back in college thats how I got my SSN. My account is opened only after I came back to msia. Do you think I'll be taxed on capital gains?

I've done wire transfer from maybank to TDA's wells Fargo bank

Maybank charges rm10

Wells Fargo charges usd 30 ;(

I know that, it's TT transferred and converted from your MY account (in MYR) to TDA's Wells Fargo (in USD). What I'm asking is funding from an FCA account, because I have USD in this account, I wanna avoid the conversion from USD > MYR > USD and I wanna know the charges.

Hi, does anyone know if its possible to transfer funds from Interactive Brokers to TD Ameritrade directly? Want to avoid incurring the FX fee and bank charges. Thanks.

Is td ameritrade website blocked? I seem to be unable to access their site unless I m using vpn. Looks to be the same for their app.

At least they should have informed investors prior to blockage. People can have their money stuck in there.

So far I tried, the SG website is working though, can be accessed from Malaysia without issues. Only the native US version is blocked.

ya... no idea what was happening initially... no idea what is planning to resolve

can go website only but cannot login... also program not launching... need vpn to access

must be some butthurt ppl complain... biggest US broker you think quite safe n secure...

Yes you are right. Cannot login. Even mobile app also cannot login. What a shame. The ameritrade app is pretty good.

I just installed ToS on my new computer, and it's taking forever to "update" is it normal or should I be concern?
