realme 6 pro at 1.4k can even provide stereo speakers and 90hz, i wonder what the heck is Poco doing with this, not even stereo speakers.

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 14 2020, 10:55 AM) Dont think 60Hz to 120Hz display refresh rate are technology breakthrough but isn't it a bit mind boggling that the Poco X2 can do up to 120hz with its lcd panel, where else the OLDE panel on Poco F2 Pro only can do 60hz.I havent own smartphone with over 60Hz display refresh rate yet, so cant be 100% sure, but I think the 'smoothness of user experience' largely affected by OS/software optimization. When I use OG Pixel XL few years back, I'm amazed at that iOS level smoothness, but when 'upgraded' to newer phone like poco F1 and xiaomi mi9T, that extreme smoothness gone missing. Poco F1 does felt fast but not smooth. IMO what's require are higher than 60hz, let's say 90Hz. So when framerate dropped ( which happened on games required heavy resources ), it dropped from 90fps to 72fps etc, which still felt smooth. What are they trying to pull here? by right the Poco F2 Pro is suppose to have all the features of PocoX2. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 14 2020, 11:11 AM) I think it's just cost, LCD are easier to get high refresh rate. See laptop with LCD and AMOLED option. I won't say for now of not getting this, but I will wait and see what they are hiding up in their sleeves. Maybe next one is Poco F2 Pro PREMIUM,Extreme?but possibly like other speculated, they cant over-come big brother xiaomi |

QUOTE(attw @ May 19 2020, 03:37 PM) doesn't justifies at all, the k30 price range is aroun 1.2k-1.4k, by that I expect the PRO version should be only most to most +500.Same case for the previous K20/K20pro/Mi9t/Mi9tPro. Mi9t original retail price was at 1499 during release, pro version was 1799. Now thanks to all but no use 5G chipset, the price jack up to nearly 3k. I'm using op7t now, never regret except missing audio jack |

QUOTE(attw @ May 19 2020, 05:28 PM) Cheapest K30 Pro I found is about RM1,999. Doesn't make sense for the Poco F2 Pro to cost fee hundreds more than that since it's essentially the same phone. what a laughing joke seriously, I hope everyone is smart enough to notice that and not to make any hasty purchase yet, let them eat the the bullet and start reducing the price. |

QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 21 2020, 12:01 AM) Just got my k30 pro zoom this evening... Something is definitely off with this phone's battery performance. Wait till you update it, MIUI is getting disappointing day by day with new each version. Its kinda insane by my usage standard. All my previous phones had around 3000mah battery (biggest was Note8), but all of them can barely survive 3.5 hours SOT. But this phone is currently reaching 4hrs mark and still have 65 percent of battery charge. Sure the battery size is definitely bigger, but I didn't expect it to be this good. |

Realme x3 super zoom is gonna win over this by miles. Anytime i will go for lower price, 120hz, and bear in mind is just lcd panel, this one amoled panel but lock at 60hz, for a 2k price you can get 256,but xiaomi is only at 128gb.
What a joke. Wait for price drop, will be at 1.8k after 6months,k30 pro would be around 1.6 |
