Agree. But for those who know-did-what, root+xposed still pass widevine L1 and safetynet happily.

Most people these days don't need root and xposed. Only a handful wanted to get the best out of their phones.

Guys, I ordered a Redmi K30/Poco F2 non-pro version that comes in China ROM for my father. It comes with Google Playstore. Should I flash it to Global ROM or it is fine if I stay in China ROM?

If u want to flash. Better flash xiaomi.eu rom.

Ya, for ad-block I just use browser with build in ad-blocker. Youtube premium cheap only.

Unless your parent is irritated by the ads notification or bloatware or both, he should be fine to stay on China ROM. China ROM gets updates more frequent than Global ROM. It's just that the way how both ROMs handle the ads and bloatware are slightly different.

A bit tricky. Most important things are backup the phone, always remember the account detail and password for Xiaomi account that was last bound to the phone, and never ever lock your bootloader when flashing back to original stock rom (mi flash tool set the option to lock bootloader by default).

I'm guessing it's because of the update for QJKMIXM was released a week or two after QJKEUXM, hence the security patch for QJKMIXM is more recent.
