From GSMArena, have dual SIM edition, but Malaysia edition is Single SIM.

Yea, that's quite shocking. Seems like xiaomi has been dual sim all the while. Sadly, dual sim is a must for me.

Yeah, I guess may be some early licensing issues they resorted to single SIM limits for most.

Actual hardware wise, the single SIM model is the same underneath except for the SIM tray. With a simple swap of SIM tray, it’s dual SIM capability can be restored.
