As my personal view, its Good buy for F2, if i wait longer than i will have another dilemma. So I already got this device yesterday (8/256 version).

For RM1999, it's a good buy. Of course with phones, the longer you wait, the cheaper it gets (but by then you'll have other choices too).

hahah true true it's never a good idea to keep waiting cause newer phones will come out and the wait is neverending laugh.gif

Are you currently using a Xiaomi phone, and if yes, do you like it? That would be a good indicator of whether you should just get the F2 Pro if you can get a good deal now instead of waiting smile.gif

Oh, then you'll be fine. It's a good buy for 1999, especially if you plan to keep it for 3 years or more - cheapest SD865 phone with 5G capabilities at the moment.

If your F1 cannot connect to 4g+ or lte+ like one of our members here then it's definitely worth to upgrade.

poco lineup might take another 2-3 years to release next f3.. so it's a huge and great upgrade from f1.

To begin with the X50 has a midrange chipset, SD765 Vs the Poco F2 Pro's SD865 and the battery is smaller, 4200mAh Vs 4700mAh. The F2 Pro is definitely the better bargain.

[1+] brings in a new NORD to attack midrange segment or trying to disrupt Poco price segment?

Doubt likely. Nord price started at Euro 399 with Qualcomm 765G.
F2 RM 2k with 865G.

The Nord has the inferior chipset, but they are banking on the software and user experience to sell the phone. The F2 Pro certainly is more value for money, but MIUI is not everyone's cup of tea smile.gif

true, but so does oxygen OS is not exactly fancy to everyone
i think that the Nord wont be pulling potential buyers from Poco F2pro just because of the pricing alone

Agreed, the UI is definitely up to personal preference and I honestly don't think the Nord will be that cheap anyway, at least not the official MY set RRP. Poco F2 Pro at RM1999 is still a good deal.

I dont mind the chipset, as my current mi9T non pro SD730 are good enough for my daily usage ( no gaming ). Current gen SD7xx are quite powerful, unlike few years back.

Ya, unless OP Nord have much lower price tag than F2pro, which are unlikely.

For me, I would consider OP Nord if it's price are rm200-300 lower than F2 pro hmm.gif
