Why is wise transfer taking so long?
My friend transferred from his Canadian account to Malaysia account.
He is Canadian.
Last month took 3 days.
24 Feb transfer will only reach Msia on 1st March!
Whereas my transfer from Msia to my Aus account takes 3 to 4 hours.

Did he exceed the daily amount? If yes most likely BNM have with held the transfer

Nope. His limit is only CAD1k per day. I think it's because he made multiple transfers since he is living in Msia under MM2H.

I doubt so because since he didn’t exceed the limit there must be something stopping the transfer

Better check with Wise where goes wrong but I suspect on Malaysia receiving end issues

Hi, anybody has experience using contactless with the Wise Card in the UK? Spending limit all adjusted to the maximum, but even £10 couldn’t use contactless. Already activated with chip & pin.

Any advise is appreciated.

yes wise card is known to be like that, their contactless fails miserably in UK, almost never success, need to use the pin instead

As long can use, it's ok. Wave also failed here.

Btw, anyone tried use WISE withdrawing cash from ATM in Japan? I read you can withdraw from 7-11, Post Japan and maybe Family Mart? Going there end of March.

Yup was there a month ago and can confirm that 7e ATM works for WISE withdrawals. Prior to that, I had no luck at other random ATM’s around the city.

Thank you! I read at WISE website that it can withdraw money at 7-11 and Japan Post. But I guess 7-11 shops are the most common around.
