Managed to activate my card via pin (4 digits).

Subsequently able to paywave.

Hope can use paywave in uk (tube) and europe few months from now.

Just try your wave at several shops in Malaysia first. Experience for many people, so many terminal cannot wave.

Please update if it is no longer the case

Where did you use paywave? Can guaranteed 9 out of 10 won't work.

It depends on what currency you want to convert. A snapshot for your reference (~ 9:30am)

RHB MCA :

MYR4525 --> USD1000 (all inclusive)

Forex rate gets refreshed every 5-10min

There is a RM20 annual fee for the debit card

$$ in your call account gets to earn daily interest, accrued by end of the month.

So far i use RHB MCA debit is best. Good rate and got interest. Pidm also. Paywave no issue. Rm20 only con but got interest to cover or upgrade to premier. Yearly use rm3k can waive.

I just apply this card, i have 2 question

#1. How long it take to receive your card in Malaysia? Applied early this month, and going to NZ at the end of April, wanna to try how this card workout on oversea.
#2. If i wanted to spend on NZD, so I top up NZD currency first, thn if i withdraw at NZ it will reduce from my NZD acc? Would it work if i only top up MYR?

It can NOT be done online but I was told you can do so over the counter, with outgoing transfer charges
