if yes , i might get good chip RAM and try go for 3.8ghz for daily >.<"

your ram should be capable of running 475x8 smile.gif

but not all quad can do high fsb, you can try playing with multi x9 instead

running 3dmark06 doesnt mean that your proc is stable at that clock with that voltage smile.gif

Try to clock as much as you can with stock vcore, see how much you can get till you hit the ceiling with the stock vcore. From there only you can progress further notch by notch. There's no shortcut to success smile.gif

There is no particular reason for your proc unable to run at 3.8ghz if every combination and setting were met, unless your q66 are already at its limit.

Able to boot doesnt mean its stable, tried 3.7ghz and 3.8ghz ? Make them stable first, then only aim for higher clock.

Try to play with vtt, vnb and gtlref. You should know you ram limit too so that you know that its not the ram that is the culprit.

thats y ddr3 is so good... i never have to care about ram freq if i wanna go for high clocks... but maybe if wanna go for very high fsb, it could be limiting it T_T... previously managed to get 510mhz bus speed for q6600, my q9650 now, gets only 514mhz... will buy ocz xmp edition once i got me pay biggrin.gif... my highest clock, but never get the chance to enter windows, 4.4ghz hahahahahahaha... benchmark stable, 4.05ghz lo T_T
