Anyone can confirm no covid checks in airport from today onwards? Saw this in the Japanese immigration site too but want to be absolutely sure I don’t need PCR test. Got 2 jabs only.

am planning my autumn trip to Japan, shock to find Jr shikoku pass will incease the price for about 40% from May.
now maybe will drop shikoku and opt for tohoku area instead. What do guys suggest, shikoku or tohoku is better for autumn?

I trust your words and the official source. Just concern that there may be transition challenges on the immigration side. Would be assuring to know from someone who was physically there.

Hi guys, im going on my trip to japan next friday so just sorting out the final things before i pack my bags and go.

I just want to ask that since i'll be travelling Tokyo>Kyoto>Osaka, i read online that with a 28" large luggage i need to reserve seat on JR line.

Do i need to pre-book tickets for this? Or can i just go to the counter the day before travel and get my tickets there?

Normally MAS are 1st Airlines arrived KIX in morning.

Next flight arrived KIX are 6.30am....So you got 0600 - 0630 this half hour empty custom line without passenger from other airlines.

No need pre-book. Because Tokyo > Osaka almost every 15 minute got one train depart. As long not Golden Week. The Train always got Seat.
Just get your seat reservation ticket on the date your depart.

If you have JR pass, just hop on the non reserved carriages on the Shinkansen, only 15m from Kyoto to Osaka. Just did that last week 😊

Hi everyone. Just wondering has anyone taken a bus from Osaka to Kyoto. I am thinking to take the bus to enjoy the road trip to enjoy the views from Osaka to Kyoto seeing it's only about a distance of 50 km. Is the ride comfortable.
