Anyone can confirm no covid checks in airport from today onwards? Saw this in the Japanese immigration site too but want to be absolutely sure I don’t need PCR test. Got 2 jabs only.

I trust your words and the official source. Just concern that there may be transition challenges on the immigration side. Would be assuring to know from someone who was physically there.

The place you’ve suggested seems refine.

A more commercialised and mid range place with good cuts is Han-no-daidokoro bettei in Shibuya. Haven’t tried the lunch set but had dinner there with the most amazing Yamagata wagyu.

I’m visiting Uguisudanien next week. Casual yakiniku place with a medium plate of wagyu starting from 1500 yen only. Decided to try as many local and foreign reviewers said it’s one of the most cost effective place with quality meat.

For those of you who are in Tokyo and wants to try decently priced wagyu yakiniku, should try Uguisudanien near Ueno.

All that in the picture plus Asahi beer costs around 8000 yen. The best cuts are the special rump and special thick tongue - both needs to be reserved in advance. The rump just melts in your melt with bursting umami and sweetness; the plum sauce goes well as it balance out the heavy flavours.

Need reservation for the place and book the special dishes that ran out fast.

Possibly since it’s a local joint that caters to more casual diners. Still very amazing taste for that price point.

You can request for the immigration and custom forms from the air stewardess just like the pre covid days. Not sure if the web version covers everything
