QUOTE(caviars @ Aug 11 2007, 10:36 AM) I don't think people expect much difference compare to the current Gen2. The expectation is more on how proton solve their qualility issue. But it is quite a disappointment if they see Proton don't do anything to improve the engine. TCU(transmission control unit) improved!!QUOTE(hokuan @ Aug 11 2007, 10:37 AM) Hey buy from me la!!! 15 August, we are ready |

Tomorrow? are you sure about the launch date. According to the proton edar fellow that i spoke to he said by 15 August and that it will be available for viewings at all dealers nationwide on the same day.
And one thing I don't understand why do people book a car that they have even seen before. Like you all know the car was open for booking a few weeks back. I mean wouldn't you want to test drive the care before making a booking or even think to book the car. |

It's bcz everyone keep comparing it with Toyota and Honda engines which already comes with variable valve timing... Juz like comparing apple and orange... Oni the engine and tranny of the MyVi is said to be of Toyota origin...everything else is sourced frm Boleh land... Proton can promise u Lotus technology in engine and tranny and also handling... I think what he is trying to say is that P2 follow the QA and QC standard similar to toyota/daihatsu. if you work in Japs company you will know that they are really strict when it comes to quality

Toyota QC level? no need to talk about Daihatsu QC... |
