It's bcz everyone keep comparing it with Toyota and Honda engines which already comes with variable valve timing... Juz like comparing apple and orange... sweat.gif
Oni the engine and tranny of the MyVi is said to be of Toyota origin...everything else is sourced frm Boleh land... tongue.gif
Proton can promise u Lotus technology in engine and tranny and also handling... thumbup.gif

I was told that the ECU and TCU has been fine tuned...
Now don't have to rev up to 4000rpm to feel the power...
Power will now come in at 2500-2800rpm...

Doors close with a solid 'thud'...
Plastics don't look so plastic now...
But I do dislike the Toyotaish fabric on the door...makes the car less classy...
And the salesperson there are quite nice as well...

It's only a RM55K car, and after being in one, I dare say so far, it's better than the MyVi and comparable to that of City...

Wiras interior is the best! No hard plastics! But do bare in mind that the Wira is already in production for 15years...so there's no development cost anymore, that's why it's cheaper to produce...well from what I can see, atleast u're getting similar interior to that of City (which costs more) with a nice dark coloured trim...
And if Proton is to reuse Wira's interior, then ppl will bash it again saying no creativity la...bla...bla...bla...
