i know m not comparing apple to apple here but the e6 is stock while the e2160 is oc'ed till 3hz...the increase fsb does not help much...i thought it would win over e6...

on top of that playing COH : opposing front the e2xxx series lag a lot...while the e6 series is smooth...

m not rating on e2 series performance here..only that if it could be built with at least a 2mb or 4mb cache....

geminII will cost u RM130 min or RM150 normal retail...n have to buy 2 120mm fan to make it full perform..cost u already...same with hyper 212 around RM150...kumpul duit sikit...used ur angpow money...so u wont regret later...go for Xigmatek

So far so good.. I can play all the latest games without problem with E2160 @ 3.1Ghz.. I think can use till next year.. Hehe

cache in gaming will only be big factor once games like Crysis or similar to it that uses multithread.. comes into the fore.. Now, still boleh pakai due to addictiveness to single threaded games like CS or HalfLIfe

Yes... Unless your E2160 is unoverclockable and IP35-E is also a very nice board, so should be no probs overclocking it. Are you getting this rig or are you owning it? If you getting it, don't go for 8600GT/S. Try and get 9600GT.

haiyo u ni so pessimistic, u must be positive bro. We are a team of e21.. common! Clock speed is not everything, use your stock Vcore and play your highest speed. And tighten your ram timings.. and for hardware, use your heatsink and lap it with 2000cw grid and use mx2 or tx2.

You mentioned real power PSU, which PSU are u aiming at? Get one of those Silverstones, I heard it has a reasonable price and pretty good performance too

And yes, get a 9600GT please. Its only 600+ from Moderno.
