i dunno whether ur bencmark setting is right or not...but i get 3429 for my 3d benchmark....makesure ur plug in ur adapter before testing ur 3d benchmark....erm....if can close all the application and set all the setting for performance. i think u can increase ur 3d mark...

So yeah, what's up? I can't seem to connect my dell to my other laptop or to my phone properly (phone can't connect to laptop but vice versa is fine).

Anyone care to hazard a guess?

Vista is crap... there is no point upgrading your processor and RAM only for Vista to slow you down... you probably need some patch update to install older games in Vista... if you have XP i suggest you install now     

Core 2 Duo is 15% faster than Core Duo if same clock speed. So C2D 1.5 means 1.5x1.15=1.725Ghz. So a 1.8 Core Duo performs better than it. However, it is using 965 chipset instead of 945. So better for your future upgrade as the processor can be upgrade. If want review, check here:

So, my advise is depends on your budget, if really tight budget, better go for a T2450 2.0 Core Duo. Best performance for the price. If got budget, go for at least 1.6+ C2D. Dun spend half way and buy 1.5C2D and regret. You can have a look at the previous page where some forumer complained bout their 1.5. err , i jz bought Dell 1520 ... now start using it .. but i had problem .. why it cant find WiFi inside my hse? already turn on the wifi ... but seems it cant find .. using Win Vista Home Basic ...

urmm , is that the only solution ? seems other ok .. but i duno if other place WiFi ... maybe itz only my hse wifi ... pening ~ any other solution ? .. tq ... coz my bro said my unc laptop also cant acces our hse wifi ... bit weird
