I received an in-app notification on the RM7 Setel Duitnow cashback campaign. However, I thought this is only for users who never used Setel Duitnow before?

Can anyone confirm it's now applicable to all users (or at least, if you got the in-app notification, you're qualified for it)?

Yes I did, obviously. What confused me is that I got an in-app notification about it 2 days ago. Previously, this campaign was not promoted to me via in-app notification.

t&c always has the final say.

in-app notification may/may not be targeted and unreliable/outdated.

most times, it's just a blanket (marketing) blast to users without filtering of eligibility.

eventually, it's always the user's responsibility to read the actual t&c before committing the promo... not just blindly trust the in-app notifications.

Never use before also no cashback. System programmed to cashback until Dec 31 only although marketing says some month in 2024.

Still can earn Mesra points and use up Shopee Coins.

Just for points, i rather not. My regular places still dont accept Settle and no Duitnow QR available.

Why not? I always do that before I go spend Offline to make sure it's still functional.

Update : Those could be offline QR being posted online. Why dont you share what you're trying to do? Buy T@NGo pin?

It happen in few website and different platform (buy tng pin/ sspn and etc).

I think Setel has blocked certain merchants. I've tried as well, I got shocked it when it keeps return Invalid Merchant but it's fine for any other offline merchants.

I tried to use Setel app to scan duitnow QR but it mentioned invalid
but the same Duitnow QR can use for Grab, Tng & Boost
why Setel can't use? I tot Duitnow can be used for any ewallet?

seems like setel blocking all merchant that have past RM10k
everyone need to report to bnm to give pressure to setel not to simply block in such way as big company/merchant unable to use setel if they keep making it invalid merchant
