im perfectly fine if they want to look ,but dont have to look until you block the player's view! (cos that is extremely annoying,added with the parents who are smiling to their kids while they(the kids) intrude )

i never meant to say the NDSL/NDS isnt an attention grabber ,but typical malaysian mentality,i guess... better graphics=better console.

Yup, I know. Cosmeticly, the Phat DS was a failure. The prototype looked WORSE. But the lite makes it look like a girls make-up kit

But I'll have to agree that the PSP design is nice, cramming in technology, first revision already quite nipis, now second revision looks the same, but really much smaller and lighter I think the word is 'sleek', or should we say, 'slick'?

I might get one(in future) if the software library intrigues me. Only Virtua Tennis World Tour/3 has me wanting some good portable tennis fun.

After reading this thread, almost everyone said that NDSL is a gamer choice. make myself also wanna have a try on NDSL.
truth to be told, im not a heavy gamer, i bought the psp because im always travel around and i need 1 all in 1 device, the PSP is my selected device.

My opinion on my "little white" PSP
Cool graphic, the display is awesome, wide screen, enjoy the movie very much when im on board.
Sound quality... compare to iPod, iPod better a bit. cause i didnt really try out the NDSL, so cant compare with it.
Wifi, at the beginning, not comfortable with because of no keyboard. compare to my PDA, dont know why PSP signal is better than my PDA.
Game, as stated just now, im not a heavy gamer, but just few only i likes to play, not more than 5 i think.
Other, personal la, when taking out the PSP, everyone was looking, cause white colour quite attractive, and proud to me own a PSP.

both handheld is an eye catcher... hahaha so hard to say.. one time i play my psp in airport while waiting for boarding time.. and the best thing is there is few kinds there.. and to my suprise these kids 3 out of 5 have psp on their hand too.. so no one care to bug me.. so nice when u can play wif no one kacau.. hahaha it seem like now days psp already normal for most ppl... since the price tag is quite affordable la.. and in my head is.. kan bagus kalau my parent buy me all i want like those kids.. haha

next time ask those kids for wifi battle!

oppss...btw, i m a psp owner. Been playing "ONLY" Metal Slug since i bought the handheld 2 months ago. I m not hardcore player, bought the PSP because I often go overseas. So, 2 hours in airport n few hours on buses or taxi or trains really killing me. So, thats why I end up with PSP.

I bought the psp for another reason is because I hardly hear ppl talk about NDSL, if i can browse thru this thread earlier, i might get myself a NDSL. Coz, i prefer easy game.. maybe mario?

Personally, I would prefer the NDSL because first, it truly is 'portable'. It's smaller than the PSP therefore far easy to carry around. Also, because of it's clamshell design, the interior is likely to be damaged compare to the PSP which is more damage prone. Sure there are protections for both parties, which means more size and weight.

So now let's move on the graphics. Obviously, PSP has better graphics, but, think about, since when does better graphics = better games? Isn't the whole point of getting a gaming console is having fun with good games? Again, there are more fun games that is playable on the NDSL (Combining the old classic GBA games) compared to the PSP. Also, Sony's UMD disc isn't a very nice thing to carry around when you travel.

Now, to R4 vs the Memory stick. The Memory stick and the MicroSD card is about the same price, but, a DS's 'Homebrew games' are on average 50~60 MB. Which means, you could have nearly 20 games on a 1 GB MicroSD card. The PSP's 'homebrew games' are on average near 10 times that amount, you'll be lucky to shove 3 games into one card.

So if you ask me, the NDSL is no doubt better than the PSP overall has a portable gaming device. Sony's decision to make a 'all-in-one portable gaming system' is probably the PSP's biggest flaw. So if you always on the rush who need a quick shot of gaming, the NDSL is the way to go.
