I'd really like to know why PSPs owners are still PSP owners. Maybe someone will enlighten us. I know it plays game, media, does homebrew, but what makes the PSP stand out?

anyway, anybody here can comment on the "fragility" of the 2 handhelds? which one requires more "care" while using?

haha...no wonder i see many trading has taken place in LYN for used psp, but seldom see any for ndsl....

lets talk about the games for the 2 consoles.
1. many commented that psp has no memorable games, coz most of them are adapted from ps2.
well, in that case, if for someone that has no ps2, is psp still a good choice then?

since the new psp will be release... will the old psp price drop?

More than once I have strangers coming up to me and see in close view what I'm playing. Some, even asked if I may let them try it for a while. I dont mind.

The DS does grab some attention too.. Like you said(Mgsrulz), restraunt workers come and see what's going on. Normal la, they never seen before

Once, I was in LRT going to gathering, nicely I play Tetris DS while standing and then suddenly a kid comes by, tip-toes, and peeks into what I'm doing.

you cant play NDS games on the psp.
you can,however,play gb,gbc,gba,psx,n64,megadrive,snes,etc games on the psp

The OE source code, Team Wildcard's 3.40 LE CFW, Dark AleX actively talking to Sony, and now... a Nintendo DS Emulator on the PSP.

For all intents and purposes though, and right off the bat, we'd have to say that we can't host the download. One of the main reasons is that the emulator taps into the BIOS - thus leading to its illegality - and the second reason being its infantile stage. We hear the emulator isn't working all that perfect; running games ends up in lock ups and glitches.

So right now, we'd just have to report about its existence, and for the sake of discussion, talk about the implications. One of the biggest hurdles here, of course, is that, how would a DS emulator work without the DS' biggest features: the touchscreen? The experience of getting to play the real Nintendo DS will be watered down in an emulated Nintendo DS on the PSP, but see, isn't that what emulators are defined as?
