u should treat ur eyes good and it can be pretty rewarding haha. can consider get lg c2 at 2023, u might get good bargain. I probably will get a 32inch or 27inch mini led monitor target 1st quarter next year see what good monitor we have in the market. currently much hyped coolermaster tempest is getting very good review for its price, dunno will reach msia or not lol.

u are on win10 or win11? actually win11 HDR is already miles better than win10 implementation, just not xbox level haha.

december GPU lineup is good, anticipating this high on life lol. Seems like a psychonauts-ish silly colorful art style game which i really like. hopefully it is good tho.

just want some advice , even though PS5 has a lot of games library than xbox , since im not a real hard core gamer and looking for new console, is it ok if i purchase xbox series x than PS5 to play Fifa , appreciate the advice.

I'm a hardcore Xbox supporter, but even I don't necessarily advise to buy Xbox. Especially if you are just planning to play 1 or 2 games. Just in case you're not familiar, many gameshops accept trade in of old games, and even sell second hand games. Some people don't want to keep a game once they have finished playing it, so they sell it off or trade it in. Last time, Impulse still accepted trading in Xbox One games, but now they no longer accept any Xbox games. It just means Xbox is nowhere as popular as PS or Switch. Besides, the main reason people buy Xbox is because of Xbox Gamepass. For a relatively low fee, I can play hundreds of games without needing to buy them. I guess Gamepass is also somewhat responsible for shops not wanting to sell physical Xbox games, since most people will just wait for it to come to Gamepass. Persona 5 Royal is the most recent example.

However, if you do decide to buy an Xbox, it's actually a great console. I personally prefer it compared to PS5, despite owning both. The best thing about it for me is Quick Resume. When I want to stop my game, I just turn off the Xbox. Later when I turn it on, it just picks up from where I last stopped. No need to save my progress or anything, it just resumes from when I last turned it off. Quick Resume doesn't work with online games of course. And not all games support it, but when it works, it's fantastic.

One last thing, if you only want to play Fifa single player, then you're good. If you want to play with other people online, then you have to subscribe to Xbox Live. The basic Xbox Live Gold just gives access to play online, and 2 free games per month. The free games are usually not great to be honest. If you want to play online, AND you want to try out Gamepass, you can subscribe to Gamepass Ultimate. It gives you access to online play, Xbox Gamepass, PC Gamepass, and also EA Play game library. You can try out Gamepass Ultimate for just USD1. After that, it's USD15 per month, but there are cheaper ways to get it.

If you are committed to getting Gamepass Ultimate, you can actually just convert your Xbox Live Gold subscription to Gamepass Ultimate. For example, if you have 1 year of Xbox Live Gold, just pay USD1 for the trial, and it will convert your subscription to 1 year of Gamepass Ultimate. If you have 3 years of Xbox Live, then it will convert it to 3 years of Gamepass Ultimate. This is way cheaper than paying USD15 per month.

Does FIFA support cross play? For me system choice would depend on where your friends are.

Both PS5 and Series X will just barely fit your budget, although 2ndhand Series X are getting cheaper in Malaysia now that PS5 is easier to buy

If your main intention is to play online, you're better off sticking with PC since games and online subscription (in this case EA Play) are cheaper than consoles.

If Xbox, you need to buy the game and pay for Xbox Live Gold + EA Play, or get Game Pass Ultimate.

I am not too sure how it works on PlayStation, but a PlayStation Plus subscription is definitely required.

If just playing offline it doesn't matter which version you get... although if you want to upgrade every year and trade in the previous year's game, then stick to PlayStation.

@awol, can I trouble you to pls check your charger again whether it makes a soft ticking sound (esp the fist 2 slots from left) by going really near the charger in a quiet place?

After 'fighting' with Panasonic Malaysia I finally received a new unit but it makes the same ticking sound like the earlier unit. I somehow find it hard to believe both units have the same / exact defect.

I have BQ-CC55, tried to listen very close during charging and YES there is sound. Intermittent "ting, ting" sound. The sound only can hear if you put your ear close to it. No issue so far, been using it for almost 1 year with 6 batts.

i charge my battery just now, no sound heard.
using the 2 slot on the left.

i tried to listen closely, no sound.
i turn off fan, room is silent.
listen for 3-4 minute only from start charging (red light).

Really weird. I wonder if it is due to the fact the chargers were from different batches.

My only concern is safety issue. The 2 units I have work but the sound kind of scares me.
