At the original USD299 pricing it's quite attractive. But the SGD pricing is actually higher than that. So now it looks somewhat expensive. Still, I was always going to go for the higher end version either way.

I'm going to get the Series S. The price difference isn't much to be honest, but I game so casually and infrequently these days that I can't really justify getting the Series X. Especially since I have no use for the optical drive and will just be fully digital through Game Pass

Maybe some other reseller might bring in grey import that has a more attractive pricing nearer to USD299, than what others are selling for RM1499 or SGD$459?

Want to see what this generation can offer; so will be getting the Series X. Hoping that besides the typical COD/Fifa type games, that next gen will have some interesting games similar to Quantum Break.

Most modern games tend to be "me too" when it comes to new gameplay ideas. After Halo came out, 1st person shooters stopped having health bars and switched to regenerating health. And a 2 weapon carry limit.

Then after Gears of War came out, cover based shooters became popular.

Original ideas are very hard to find these days. Remedy seems to be one of the few developers that always try to introduce new gameplay gimmicks. But they still stick to making 3rd person shooter games, so it's not completely alien.

Look like they just came out with their new game, Control. Looks awesome. Hoping for more interesting games like that.

Rumour has it MS are buying SEGA and announcing at the TGS... I'll be looking at getting the series x. Probably will miss the 1st batch but i can wait. Of the launch titles Yakuza - like a dragon interests me the most and that's on the one and on gamepass.

I'm actually really grateful having stayed with xbox for the last generation as it's pretty cool that i'll have games from 4 xbox generations ready to play.
