Couple of reviews are up.
So far looking pretty good. I like how some reviewers commented on how silent the Xbox Series X is. A bit tired of my PS4 pro jet engine. Can’t wait to play this in November. |

Lots of xbox series x reviews today with a focus on BC and how your current games will look and play better. Seems overwhelmingly positive

Seems overwhelmingly positive I was hoping for the series x to hit 4k 60fps for current(Xone) gen games. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalf...-transformative https://www.theverge.com/21458254/microsoft...ameplay-preview https://venturebeat.com/2020/09/28/xbox-ser...-x-impressions/ It did, though for the more demanding games there are still some drops. Way better than one x though, that’s for sure. |

I think a few of the reviewers mention sekiro only hitting 59 but that's still a big improvement from right now..It did, though for the more demanding games there are still some drops. Quite tough to have a stable fps with RT on, so far only a handful of games are able to achieve that. I'm actually hoping for 4K 120fps |

QUOTE(russell612 @ Sep 29 2020, 01:11 PM) what he meant was the Xbox units sold are not recognize by MS, because they are grey import from Singapore. Hence the sales figure goes towards MS SG.There is a high chances that XBL will never officially launch in Malaysia, due to the above or they see SG as a hub to supply SEA region. Nintendo Switch shares the similar issue where MY eShop doesnt exist, most players set to US region and we dont hear people being afraid or complaining. Looking forward to beat yozora again at 4k 60fps. At least I’ll look good dying. |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Sep 30 2020, 10:53 AM) Another win for Microsoft - Dolby Vision and Atmos for Gaming. Dolby Atmos is actually just software support built into the device. There's no such thing as a headphone with Dolby Atmos hardware in the first place. Now I need an Atmos soundbar / headphone SOS You can buy 'Dolby Atmos for headphones' app in the Microsoft store. I've bought it personally, so I know it's actually worth it. You just put on any normal wired headphones to the Xbox controller, select Dolby Atmos for Headphones and you're good to go. Of course a good pair of headphones will give better results. |

QUOTE(yoyoi @ Sep 30 2020, 10:45 PM) Already pre-ordered series S. But suddenly thinking to change to series X. Should i change my pre-order or stick with series S? Depends on what your setup is. Since both will be able to run the same games on Series X up to 120fps, it won't be like the Xbox One X vs One S. The One X actually performs better than the One S.If you're going to be using it with a 1440p monitor, then the Series S makes perfect sense. If you have a 1080p TV, the Series S still makes sense. But if you have a 4K TV, I would choose the Series X. Not only for Series X games, but also for some other enhancements like old Xbox games, where they can run on One X enhanced mode (4K resolution, better frame rates). |
