I am new to this but I concur. Don't understand what the uproar about 4 % dividend this year. Why look at past year trends when other factors like the economy recession and aftermath of covid plays such a huge role this year?

isn't that would be reflected in next year's dividend?

It has always been like this each time dividend was announced.
Comments like "better invest elsewhere" would appear. When asked for tips on investment with higher return than that of ASN, with equal or less risk, nobody could answer.

Do both parties need to be present at the bank when transferring FP units? Or is it enough with the owner that is transferring being present?

i also blur, looking at FD and ASNB interest rate, i prefer ASNB, although lower than previous years rate, atleast got something in return and safer too. this is from a rookie POV.

maybe when I'm expert in future than can invest others and take risk. 😁🤭

at this 4% rate, I would add into sspn first for the tax relief n the ease of "able to get units".... But then hopefully can still get 4% next year for sspn.... Same as hopefully 4% too for tis happy n satisfied to have fund.

Since I am above 55, I target kwsp first n my spouse near 50 also priorities kwsp over other govt guaranteed stuffs for our 1st rm60k.

if the buyer data is up todate, then owner alone present at the bank/ASNB office will do.

Expected more people will redeem this week to have more cash on hand for loan payment

Since 2019 I only manage to get twice.. last time is Rm1000 in early Sep

before moratorium, not many take out money to pay for loan also. if anything, perhaps ppl save more now.
