Are there any offers in market to get fixed units? Via investments in ASNBs other funds? Any suggestion to get more fixed units are appreciated 🙂

Is it possible to transfer ASNB fixed units between two non-related persons? How does the process work? Thanks

I tried adding a beneficiary (they called it trustee) to my fixed units at the ASNB office. Apparently, you need to pay an upfront fee of 180rm and 10rm per year and there is a percentage fee on the value when transferred. Is this the only way to add a beneficiary?

QUOTE(beLIEve @ Mar 16 2020, 11:46 AM) yes. and i heard that 1000 units of each fund will be blocked for this purpose. Thanks for the promo info. Yes, they mentioned about 1000units. Where is the promo usually announced?alternatively, you can wait for promo. then you pay around $90, depending on the discount. the last promo was, I think Mar-May 2019. Do you know if the beneficiary needs to be present also? |

I am planning to transfer some ASM units. Maybank mentioned that they are unable to do it over the counter. Instead, I have to sell them and the other person has to try their luck after me in line. Is this really the case?
I was thinking of doing it at PNBs office instead on Tun Razak. Is there any changes when transferring units? Thanks |

QUOTE(faizfizy39 @ Jul 19 2020, 03:01 PM) I looked into it earlier this year, there is a yearly administration fee and also a % fee when there is a claim.I decided to wait then due to it, not sure if a will would also result in the claim % fee from ASNB? |

QUOTE(MGM @ Jul 24 2020, 06:48 AM) This is talking about Bursa Malaysia Bhd and Glove companies only. Other companies in ASNB & EPF funds move up a lot too? Sorry havent been following KLSE lately. It’s Bursa Malaysia as in the index. The main driver is Top Glove. Looks like EPF dropped out too early though.https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/epf-...ial-shareholder |

QUOTE(samuraix79 @ Aug 7 2020, 05:21 PM) As with all investment, if you think you can find better, please consider it, you know what's best for you, in terms of time spent, constant checking etc. ASNB you only check once a year hah hah. But if you diverge to other dividend type stocks also the same loh. Is there any yearly fee? Finally did my Hibah just before close of RM50 promotion last week yay! I had to travel twice to branch because they need me to bring trustee ID copy also But Aug another promotion, RM80 like previously. |

Have they removed transfer of ASNB units?Buyer seller transact at banks/asnb branches? Will they allow transfer to 3rd party accs even if buyer seller are physically present at branch? |

Lower Maybank dividend should translate to lower ASNB returns? |

QUOTE(brando_w @ Aug 30 2020, 11:30 AM) 2. Further on Fixed Income Instruments / Investments: With the weakening MYR and dwindling interest rates, the interest rate returns for fixed income instruments in Singapore is definitely worth considering if one is not already exposed to investing there. You’re able to get slightly more than 2% thereabout for a 36 month pledge. For a AAA rating, not bad at all. Do you mean Moody’s or S&P AAA? No corporate entity will have that in Asia unless backed by AAA sovereign guarantee like Temasek.Which bond/fi fund are you looking at with 2% over 36months? |
