As ASM1 dividend has been decreasing over the years, is it still wise to buy the funds? I am thinking of investing for long term but if ASM3 funds are too difficult to purchase over the next few weeks after this dividend is declared, should I consider purchasing ASM1 anyway? Something is better than nothing, does it apply to this case?
Kindly advise, sifus |

There will be a new bundle available soon ASM + ASN Imbang 3 Global. I am not keen on the VP but am thinking of investing anyway for the FP. Not sure if this is risky move or not considering the global investment is not stable now

QUOTE(TheEquatorian @ Sep 29 2020, 02:36 PM) Do you know which ASM? So effectively 4% loss on the VP, will they charge management fee also if there is an immediate sale of the VP (another 1.5%)? Sorry for the late reply. Couldn't post more than 3 times because newbie. It's ASM1. Not sure if available in all banks or selected ones. I received this info from sotong. Also not sure on the management fee part. I think they will charge it the moment sale goes through. QUOTE(TheEquatorian @ Sep 29 2020, 05:45 PM) I donβt think any of the VPs have been good. Would have to buy the bundle and sell the VP immediately. Discount the loss into the FP dividends. I am thinking of doing that too. It's tempting to hold though because financial year is 31 Dec. Thought of waiting it out to see what the first time dividend/performance will be.QUOTE(citymetro @ Sep 29 2020, 06:21 PM) Based on what I read on ASNB web, no issue with selling it. Again, have to enquire more from bank that is offering the bundle but shouldn't be an issue. Maybe you can ask and share the info here? |

QUOTE(TOS @ Sep 30 2020, 09:39 PM) One has to say, they have done a remarkable job, despite the turbulence. The annual report for ASM3 would be interesting. I am new to this but I concur. Don't understand what the uproar about 4 % dividend this year. Why look at past year trends when other factors like the economy recession and aftermath of covid plays such a huge role this year? |

QUOTE(dlttdltt @ Oct 1 2020, 06:32 PM) Anyone encounter this error code 100 before? Yes, the app is very problematic today. Encountered error so many times just when purchasing the units. Lost out in the end. Guess it couldn't handle too many promptThis is not the usual 1001 error where you need to wait for 5mins. "T ransaksi tidak berjaya. Sila hubungi Pusat Khidmat Pelanggan ASNB di talian 03-7730 8899. Kod Rujukan Gagal: 100 " This happened to me only for asm1 around 4pm till 6pm today. Even after 5mins to 1hour of waiting when try to buy again will immediately get this 100 error. Didn't even let me try to click 10x on asm1. Today app seems to have lots of bugs. Called the customer service they say nothing wrong with my acc but since it's after 6pm already now they asked me to try again tmrow. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 3 2020, 08:33 AM) Yes, there is a new bundle available from 7th October 2020 onwards. I received this news from sotong but don't know anything more about the details aside that it will a bundle of 35% FP + 65% VP and VP sales will be charged 4% by the bank. Min bundle investment is 30k. Not sure if can negotiate the rates or not. |

QUOTE(AnAngel65 @ Oct 5 2020, 05:14 PM) QUOTE(samuraix79 @ Oct 5 2020, 05:08 PM) New campaign for Amanah Declaration. Get RM50 ASM3 units, but still have to pay fee (can't see it anywhere in the TnC but assuming full fee of RM180) Saw this also and tried to pre-register but it keeps bringing me back to asnb main page. Can't seem to proceed, does anyone know how?Not as attractive as before, maybe can still wait and see https://www.asnb.com.my/ASB30tahun_HapaOct.php#PA ![]() Btw, as I am new to asnb investment, I didn't know that have to pay to nominate next of kin. Is RM180 expensive and there is an annual fee as well? |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Oct 31 2020, 09:37 AM) I have tried to fish without success. Maybe it is because I tried outside the normal hours and days. Not sure if this is true because I haven't tried but you can sell a limited number of amount through the ASNB app. Up to RM500 if I am not mistaken?Like to know if you have caught some fish: 7-8 am 5-6 pm Sat & Sun These are when ASNB offices are closed but online is still open. Dont understand it, if the offices are closed, no seller and thus no available units. Except for some states like Trengganu etc. Thanks. |
