i do not know the details but i suspect ALL subscribers who got 800 turbo in late 2017 should have "perpetual" discount by their own promotion principle.

but somehow the records were not made properly, not in order... probably messed up by the sales staff.

then, the billing staff were told to give themselves benefit of doubt - "charge them if u think chargeable".

my own case, i never had proof it was perpetual but i remember i asked during a recorded telecon, reply was "yes, will remain after 24 months".

all biz now hungry for cash... do put up a good fight against the wolves.

if not, b sure u will get eaten alive.

Got a feeling these packages come with data quota attached.

Last year, there was murmur in TM on introducing data quota on new fiber package.

From the ads, these packages are targeting customers who already switched to other ISP.
It displays " COME BACK AND TAKE ADVANTAGE..."

Guess it maybe effective to lure Maxis customer, but not TIME customer.

But, as usual, existing TM subscribers are ignored and treated as cash cow just like always.

i will keep 100mbps but i wont upgrade 300MBPS for RM149 we don't need i prefer direct 800MBPS offering

For now i dont think new 800mbps will cost less than 250,because u see the 300mbps already rm199,even discount i think new subscribe for 800mbps will around rm259-rm289.

Upload 10M on 30M plan is bad.

Those who paid attention along the way still have good deal. Many of us took up the RM139 promo 2 years ago which is now at 300MBps, and been extended from 24-month promo to unlimited due to YEP.

This is not even taking into account those who lucky enough/smart enough/complain enough to get better deals like the RM129 for 800MBps, RM149 for 500MBps etc. All long-term customers.

Those who happily pay every month must be don't feel the pain anyway =)
