hi guys, any recommendation for wifi router to replace netis? currently on 100mbps. budget around RM100+

50M plan , upload 10M or 20M ?

My 30M plan upload 10M always not enough ...

imagine u need to upload 3 torrent files at the same .... 

upload 20M not so bad ...

Upload 10M on 30M plan is bad.   

maxis sometimes give u private ip which mean that u cannot
do port forward ...then cannot download bt torrent.
u need to make sure maxis give u public ip before subscribe
to their fiber plan.Just beware about this issue.

Spent so much money install fiber line yet need to beg them to get public ip ...

At least subscribe to unifi , no such beg thing.

Guys, I am moving into a new house soon.
Here I having problem to choose between Unifi & Maxis.

My target is between 100-300Mbps plan as my family members quite heavy usage.

Unifi 100Mbps - RM129
Maxis 300Mbps - RM149
Unifi 300Mbps - RM199

I am both Unifi and Maxis home fibre user before this. Maxis is tapping on Unifi so the backbone performance will be similar, the different are the Router and Technical supports.
The router I will be using own Asus router, so the different now is only Technical supports if having issue especially related to ports and other root cause not related to Maxis whereby they need to wait for TM to action.

If you, which one you will choose? Worth to gamble on Maxis? Haha...

What replacement u mean?

ONU doesn't usually need to be replace . Usually only the power adapter will spoil. And the ONU belongs to TM regardless you use Maxis or Unifi. You still need to keep the ONU and return it should you decide to terminate one day, or pay the penalty charge.
How long is the transfer process? I was told just go to the respective center to register, and provide the transfer ID to the current ISP. Anything else?

Nowadays even TM's ONU cannot be access by users. There's a topic in this forum talking about this.
