Yup, first big crash. Fractured left ankle. Car suddenly change into my lorong. Had no time to brake and flew a couple of feet and hit my head pretty hard. Helmet took most of the impact and my gloves too. I'm so blessed I decided to wear full riding gear that day.

Actually if you ever end up with the i90 again assuming your measurements for the 4xl size and headshape, maybe go for the 4xl instead of the 5xl. New helmets should be tight. A "perfect" fitting helmet may end up loose after a few months of use.

It is quite likely (and I'm guessing here) these larger helmets all share the same shell so only the padding size is different. Get the tightest helmet that you can comfortably wear without hotspots.

Noted. Thanks for the advise. thumbsup.gif

Yep. Was pleasantly surprised as well.

My old MT Atom modular is also P/J .

But after testing the Zeus, you might be better off with a better helmet. The wind noise on the Zeus is very bad. But I suppose short trips to the Taman shops are ok, which is what I bought it for. Anything over 80 is almost unbearable.

They just brought in the scorpion ADX2 just days after getting the Zeus. Wtf. Looks like will be adding another to my helmet collection. Was holding off on the ADX1 because it was only P homologated. (New ADX2 is 22.06 P/J)

I was wearing benkia brand riding shoe, protected my feet no problem but since I hit the car pretty hard on my left leg, my feet like bengkok sideways. They had to cut open the shoes though, but overall it did it's job pretty well I'd say.

High cut. Pretty budget riding boots. I'll have to look for another to replace it, maybe tcx or Alpinestar.

I think would have been worse without it! When getting new branded boots do look for the CE rating label on the boot. There are some name brands which doesn't carry CE rating.

Looking at your gear.. even if its budget gear, it beats no gear. Speedy recovery!

I've tried the adx1 few times.
Quite uncomfortable for me.

Have yet to try the adx2. Any other place that carries them other than motorworld?

If not mistaken, I think motorworld is the main importer and distributor. But I know excel bikers in seremban has them as well.

My friend has been waiting ADX2 since April. I do not think Motoworld is bringing in ADX2.

True
Even wearing budget gears is better than none.
That's why I always advice just buy the best you can afford. Not cheap I know. But just treat it like paying for an insurance.
