Thinking of picking up a rpha 11 next month, any sifu can recommend this helmet for long term use? Plan on using for my first trip with my brother to Kuching. I know it's racing helmet but I like the narrow look of it and also come with pinlock and free dark visor. This will be my *first* helmet and I want to make sure the rm1++++ price is worth it.

I would recommend you to consider the rpha70.  It comes with a retractable sun visor/shade which is a better option than using a dark visor.  And it's a much quieter helmet.
It's a better helmet for daily use and
for long distance ride.

I'm using one, my daily ride helmet.  No regrets.

Forgot to ask
What type of bike are you riding?

Rpha11 aerodynamics is designed mainly for sporty riding position

Rpha70 is designed for upright riding position, touring , etc

My ride is a tnt 300, quite upright but sometimes I like to cucuk corners like a mad man and my current helmet always pushing back when high speed. Maybe I'll take a look at the rpha 70. Also, what's the fiting like on hjc helmets? I heard it a bit tight on the cheeks and is it good for oval face like me?

I second the recommendation to try the rpha 70 with the normal fiberglass/carbon shell. I use one myself. Decent aerodynamically, very quiet, fairly lightweight. The built in sun-visor is great since you dont have to worry about bringing a second visor if you are out all day. The full carbon version is only slightly lighter and only in black so to me, it wasnt worth the price premium and i like a brighter helmet.
Just to note if you are buying HJC helmets. HJC and the dealers are sitting on quite a lot of old stock, so do check the manufacture dates. If you dont mind older stock, you can get them at a serious discount. I paid 1500 for mine.

Also due to the old stock, the "carbon" look trim on the helmet inner liners may start to peel. I had my helmet straps covers and cheek liners replaced under warranty by HJC malaysia so all good. its mostly aesthetic issue so no big deal for me.
If you can wait, maybe wait for the new 22-06 helmets that are just coming on to market. You might even get the older 22-05 helmets for cheap.

Otherwise if you are stitting on a 2000 budget, you can also explore the Scorpion lineups. Also excellent helmets around the same price range as the RPHA range. There may still be some older stock of carbon EXO 1400s left in stock, assuming they have the size.

Does the rpha 70 come with any freebies like the rpha 11? Pinlock or smoke visor? Also have you tried intercom with the helmet?

What happened?
You crashed?

Yup, first big crash. Fractured left ankle. Car suddenly change into my lorong. Had no time to brake and flew a couple of feet and hit my head pretty hard. Helmet took most of the impact and my gloves too. I'm so blessed I decided to wear full riding gear that day.

Thank God you are ok.  And good that you wear safety gears.

Except for the ankle

You werent wearing riding shoes ?
*
I was wearing benkia brand riding shoe, protected my feet no problem but since I hit the car pretty hard on my left leg, my feet like bengkok sideways. They had to cut open the shoes though, but overall it did it's job pretty well I'd say.

Ouch.
Sorry to know that

The benkia riding shoes..... High cut or low cut ?

High cut. Pretty budget riding boots. I'll have to look for another to replace it, maybe tcx or Alpinestar.
