Get a full face helmet, and an ECE rated one.

The riding school helmet, you might lose your chin. Getting a non full face Bilmola, you gonna lose your chin too. So why bother?

It's supposed to be around 1.6kg
Holding it side by side I think it's similar weight to Arai tour x4, shoei hornet and every other adventure helmet with a peak.

I really dig the removable chin bar. And the removable peak, can turn to full face hnghhhh

I bought my son the bilmola rapid s. Not a bad helmet..i tried it on when at the shop and it fit me great and also comfy. The helmet design is also quite nice...only thing is they all have graphics n i prefer plain black.

Didnt get for myself coz no drop down sun visor...n yeah id recommend it

Old video. But informative
@1:40
Showing the importance of full face helmet

INb4.....I ride kapchai only, I ride slow, I ride in the city. No need full face helmet.

As mentioned previously, I ordered a Zeus GJ613 helmet for a spare and here is the Part 1 of the review. Part 2 and final verdict will come after I get to test ride with it on.

Price paid : 280 (from shopee after various discounts and with free shipping)

Size M, 1320g. Convertible type open face with removable chin bar, built in sunvisor, Single layer EPS, Aug 2022 production date.

Initial impressions.

Feels like a cheap budget lid. Meaning everything feels clunky and the plastic bits feels cheap. Fitment is good although pads feels much less plush but on par for the budget. I wasnt expecting the same build quality as my Rpha 70 of course. Slightly wider than my HJC so might fit rounder heads better.

good
Built in sunvisor
Removable pads. Not bad quality for a budget lid.
Micrometric strap feels secure
ECE 22/05 P/J rated
Ventilation looks decent with very deep channels in the EPS and 3 intake and 3 exhaust vents that line up with the EPS channels.
Speaker pockets (although shallow) not yet test fit coms yet.
Exceptionally good visibility
Lightweight

Bad
Visor in your eyeline when open. This is due to the unusually wide visor
Visor fogs easily (no pin lock)
Sunvisor don't come low enough

Good. But best to try it in person.

I like HJC specs and graphics, but when trying it on in various sizes it just didn't agree with my head shape. HJC is a no go for me. Remember you want it to fit snug. Mine was either snug with pressure points on my ears and forehead, or its too loose. So no joy for me.

Part 2 review of the Zeus GJ613. Road test.
City and highway, speeds up to 150. About 1hr ride.

Addendum to first review. The helmet does have eyeglass channels in the EPS. Tested with normal glasses and sunglasses. The drop down sunvisor clears glasses...but YMMV

Good
Excellent visibility. The field of view is amazing.
Aerodynamically quite stable at speed. Turning the head at speed don't result in any appreciable torque.
Lightweight. You barely feel you have a helmet on.
Visor is optically decent despite not being flat. No appreciable distortion or internal reflection at night.

Bad
Very very VERY loud. Wind noise becomes prevalent from 50kmh, any speeds over 100 will require earplugs. Wind noise reduces a little when in clean air but remains loud (my windshield create a lot of turbulence just under the neck)
Closing the vents dont make much noticeable noise reduction.

Undetermined
Ventilation was not as good as expected given the extensive vents and EPS air channels. It was not hot, but I didn't feel my head being cooled.

Weather sealing not tested. Will wait for a wet day to test again.

Felt a bit of pressure on the ears but will have to wait for the helmet to season up first to judge overall comfort. The paddings felt quite thin and hard on this 1hr ride.

verdict
Feels like all the 280rm I paid for it. Helmet buyers would probably be better served by an entry level branded full face helmet from HJC or equivalent.

Granted, to be fair, this helmet isn't targeted at big bike riders that will do big speeds, and thus, if you are looking for a city helmet with a sunvisor for a kapchai or small scooter, they might work for you in a pinch. Although if you are looking for an open face helmet with a visor, you might consider the Givi M30.3 or the new M35

FWIW, while I may consider Noise levels to be high, but do take into consideration my main helmet is one of the quietest in the market.

Bilmola have Dragonball series. Finishing looks good.
Comes with tinted visor, that would cost a helmet on high brands like Arai and Shoei.
