kucingfight for Wise, i recommend you manually convert MYR->EUR in Wise (forgot the fee). and then send the EUR to IBKR (FOC). you'll save the USD1.13
if you are on cash account (not margin), IBKR will auto convert to USD for a fee of 0.03% when you buy. else use Recurring to buy stocks, then IBKR will auto convert for free to USD
thanks, yes, i read through ur replies by converting to Euro first, if it's 0.03%, it's the most economical way it will get
i did some check in wise, if converting to MYR-Euro, the charges is around (0.52%) , so basically, saving (USD1.13 & 0.02% if converting USD) , but the saving may become insignificant when the transfer amount gets bigger, as the USD1.13 is a one time fee.

My understanding is you can open a usd account with say CIMB MY, and then transfer the usd from IBKR account to CIMB MY USD.
kucingfight all deposits to IBKR not under an account in your name is treated as money laundering except Wise
In fact wise deposits prior to direct IBKR-Wise integration in 2021-2022 is rejected or has complications also. Below is how it used to be last time 👇
QUOTE
During a routine review of your IBKR account, the IBKR Compliance Department had noted your deposits from Wise Inc.Please note that IBKR typically does not allow third-party deposits. All deposits should come from an account in your name."

I bought shares from the same company twice. I found that my second purchase even though with much fewer shares, costed higher commission. May I know what could be the factor?

Delinking TSG from IB don't need to sign form anymore. Just gotta :-
1. email globalsupport@tradestation-international.com to request delinking 2. wait for notification for delink on IBKR 3. follow steps in notification [mostly confirming account details] 4. wait for delink - 2-3 days
