What kind of modem are you even using now? What package or kind of subscription?
But the Huawei B618 is the best of it's kind, no doubt it is gonna help a bit.

here and here

I tested UniFi Mobile on my phone to check out its coverage. I took the prepaid #BEBAS Starter Pack 3GB LTE and I quitted after topping up once for data.

Can always opt for other telcos.
Since the 65d variant isn't locked.

Right now, Unifi Air is targetted to current Strymx users as a replacement.

Yup, that's the way TM does business. Need to profit also.

Typical response. Don't think it's open to the public yet?

Yeah. The measly 3% of all the combined Streamyx users? How is that a solution?

Probably not. But you would need to pay 79 ringgit monthly.
Isn't really worth it to be tied to the contract for 2 years.

Truthfully I would just get the modem outright and subscribe to an unlimited plan that has much more flexibility and coverage compared to Air.
The coverage is too restricting. Not to mention the absurb pricing for new subscriptions.

Even with local test servers, 4G would only yield around 20+ms response time. That is totally unsuitable for gaming or live video streaming.

Was never intended to?
And how do you expect to bring the bludgey B618 around?

Maybe you're just not eligible for the "upgrade"? Their TnCs are very restricting.

Air is live now, but they are offering it first to the 3% of Streamyx users, as for new subscriptions, it is RM 129, I believe?

Personally, it's a waste of time, you ask their live chat they will give you answer A, you recheck with their FB chat, they give you answer B, you go to their TMPoint they give you answer C, you get pissed and submit a complaint to MCMC, they are just gonna reply you no coverage or something that is totally unrelated to your complaint.
