Can we combine VIP points from quantum principal and supps?

Can we redeem for the 10000 VIP points = RM25 SST for cash back, even though there is no SST charged?

My slip is from Maybank. It shows

Ent Tyoe: Wave

Pin Verified

My statement date is 20 something. Let's see if this is still consider contactless transaction for QV.  tongue.gif

I might get the 3%/5% cash back form the local retail transaction as well. Transaction done on 1/9/19 @ 13:xx:xx.  tongue.gif

My latest statement just came out. Yes, wave and pin is eligible.

Btw, anyone knows if online purchase Visa Secure OTP would reset the wave spending limit on this card?

That is a very good news. So meaning in future we just have to make sure that the merchant accepts payWave.

Just to confirm on how to paywave and pin.

Need to use Samsung Pay to do it or just put the QV at the contactless reader and put it inside the chip reader to pay by pin?
*
no, do not insert, if you insert is no longer contactless, just wave and key in the pin when prompted for > RM250 or when the limit reach

Whether the amount is above or below RM250 no longer an issue. We just have to make sure merchants have payWave terminal. tongue.gif

Based on this step, really wonder whether anything need to be done by cashier:

Tell cashier you want to pay with Visa contactless.

Bcoz my Tap & Pin transactions having mixture outcome still.. some will show unsuccessful after I wave without having the chance to key in PIN for txn above RM250 especially those smaller shop..

If I go place like Tesco, no issue with wave and pin..

If wave and does not prompt for pin, don’t use for QV. The machine probably configured to reject and not allow pin manual entry.

Just wondering, since PBQuantum card (Visa and MC) comes with the features of converting purchases of RM500 and above in single transaction into a 3/6/9/12/14/24/36 months easy instalment plan, so does topping up Bigpay/Boost eligible for these offer? Anyone tried before?

From here, but there’s no date stated in the T&C. So it should be a permanent feature?

Yes, as long as it does not exceed your credit limit
