My first time dealing with RinggitPlus. I applied the same credit card earlier and activated the card in June. The supposed free gift was AirAsia e-voucher. But after few months they call me and want to switch to other obscure vouchers (tesco, aeon, lazada - which I don't use) because "experiencing a critical technical glitch in generating the Air Asia evouchers" which I rejected. This practice reflects that they have no intention on actually giving out the vouchers as advertised. I understand that the T&C fine prints says they are entitled to change to whatever they like, but just be careful to companies who always rely on the fine prints to get away with false/misleading advertisement. I have not suffer material losses due to dealing with RinggitPlus as of now, but just be extra mindful when conducting business with RinggitPlus.
I’ve applied Aeon BiG Visa Gold CC with RinggitPlus since 11 July 2019. Until now, check with Aeon no records on my application. At first it was delayed by ringgitplus on the sales team verification, they only called me on 2x August 2019, said due to huge volume of applicants, and they only manage to called me a month plus after application. I did bug the CS on daily basis asking why the sales team have not call me yet, the standard answer ‘will get them to call u by end of the day’, everyday for more than 10 days, but no call also. Until one fine day I was busy only then they called me.
Then, until now, I checked with Aeon, they said no application under my IC number in their system. Aeon ask me to check with RinggitPlus.
RP said due to technical issue, my application still stuck with their side. The last time I called was on 12.9.2019.
Didnt know their service is this bad. This is my first time applying thru them (my previous standard chartered card was thru them but it brings me to SC website itself on the application-so the application directly handled by SC staff itself)
