Hi, is aluminium kitchen cabinet good to go?
Price wise, wood or aluminium is higher?

Aluminium cheaper and robust against water

But less atractive

Any review of TopMix - High Pressure Laminate?

My contractor has recommended this series for the kitchen as well as wardrobes.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Guys, need some advice.

My kitchen cabinet glass door's lift pump can't last long.

Find out the glass door is very heavy, maybe due to this, the pump can't last long. Another reason could be there is only single pump on it, if using at both side could be better.

If add another pump, i'm having challenge to drill the socket on aluminium as i have no equipment.
Some will advice me to change the heavy glass to something lighter so that even single pump can support and last longer.

Any suggestion? notworthy.gif

Nothing you can do...except to change that item often. Installing a second item may help but the glass door is still very heavy so it wont last as long as you hoped either.

best is to install those doors that open sideways. No wear and tear.

Size wise looks tiny. The ikea one seems to allow more usability of the corner space. [

I went to the Song-Cho showroom in JB and they also have some of these items in stainless steel. Anyone used these items from Song-Cho before?
It's quite expensive so I am still surveying at the moment.

TIA.

is anybody familiar with porcelain slab as countertop?
did some googl-ing online and stumble across this material. cheaper than quartz, have various options, stain resistance..

there's a local brand, Marmo Grande, offering them in 1600 x 3200 x 12mm for countertop options.
any owner may share their experiences with this alternative to quartz?
*
did you get the porcelain slab for your kitchen cabinets?

I have checked out large format porcelain tiles from ORO and Marmo Grande and they look and feel quite similar.

Still undecided about the material for the kitchen counter top.

Anyone used it for the KC?

TIA.

Solid surface
Large format tiles

U can read up or ask them for sample..
Then you try do stain test with tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soya sauce, wine, used cooking oil see whether acceptable or not biggrin.gif

Hello,

I'm looking to replace one custom cabinet door with clear glass.
The frame can be either white wooden or aluminium.

Now, many cabinet makers have minimum order of certain amount.
They don't accept small order for one door.

Can anyone refer a shop which can accept small order for custom made door?
I have found one in Lazada/Shopee but it doesn't ship glass door...

Already did this.
Most alu/glass shops will not entertain such request too.

That's why I wish to check out if there is any specific vendor willing to do this.

I think is the issue of pricing they dont want to do.

Unless you want them to quote and you pay without question, I believed some will do.

I think more like.. if they just do without coming to measure and self-pickup at their place, can do
If you want them to drop by to measure.. just for one door.. they cannot make money

Actually not this case.
I have all the measurements for door siz, hinge locations and picture.
Generally, I can diy the installation without issue.
It's just that most shop will not entertain small custom order.

There are 2 sellers in Shopee can do it but they don't ship clear glass door which is needed by me.
