 Personal Loan, which banks offer the best deal?

Hello,

I want to make a personal loan.
but i dont have any commitment yet.

i tried few bank but they rejected me coz of i dont have commitment.
my salary is 2.5k as a contract stuff in 1 IT company.
anyone can suggest me which bank should i apply?

i tried

Al-Rajhi - reject
rhb - reject
maybank - reject

and currently waiting answer from CIMB.

im planning to make a loan around 5k and 24 months installment

5k is too small of loan they wont even bothered to entertain you.
some more you dont have repayment history its hard for them to know whether you are a good loan payer or not. its the same for me. as I never apply loan and dont have credit card.

try to apply credit card first.

i have found a solution to my problem...i dont have any cc.....so Maybank offered my cc as i have home loan from MBB.......i will swipe the cc at my fren shop.......he will give me cash.....smile.gif.............problem solved

I suggest applying for a credit card then converting it to cheque-on-call. If you withdraw cash from the card the interest is very high, cheque on call is when they convert your credit card limit into cash direct to your account - interest is much lower for this.

I am offering 3 years annual fee waiver, and lower income requirement for higher card status:

Gold card: RM18,000 p.a.,
Platinum card: RM60,000 p.a.
Visa Infinite card : RM150,000 p.a.

Cash Back (*valid till end of March)

RM88 - Gold Card

muddie - i have yet to get your reply for the black and white to state the 7.5% with T&C.

anyone successfully applied PL through muddie can confirm the 7.5% p.a for PL?

All my customers that their personal loan is approved get 7.5% fixed rate p.a. Yes, if there is anyone of my customers here please confirm this. Thanks.

bank rakyat = 3.3% up to 3 yrs
bimb = 3.25% up to 3 yrs
BSN = 3.15 up to 2yrs

this for gov staf & selected multinational company. if not mistaken.

For Standard Chartered, it took ages to get approved. 3 months down the road they are still calling me to do background check.. 3 months!
