Hi, since you are stand chart staff, want to ask you about the early settlement for "Quick Cash Edge".
My loan amount is 12k and interest rate is 10%p.a. Loan tenure is 5 year.

Already paid installment for 3 years and plan to do early settlement.
I was told can save roughly 1k if doing early settlement.

But based on calculation, 1 year interest should be 1200 (12k loan, 10% interest). If I settle 2 years earlier, suppose I can save 2400, why now only save 1k?
I doubt how is the calculation and not fair to consumer.  vmad.gif
*
For your information, u will pay more on Interest during the first few months.
N the later months, u only pay for the principles.
So you settle the loan all ady?

sure can get 5.5% huh ?

today i kena *** wif cust .. vmad.gif  .. i told him min 8% per year (havent finish my sentence) then he claimed im givin wrong info, trying to cheat him ... he said his fren applied got 11% .

of coz la. min 8% ...but subject to credit review la (risk level)... they will check ur credit history ... then once the loan approved, u don like, cancel la..

as i know ctbank's Ploan offers very good interest, BUT for selected and existing customers only,  rclxms.gif
*
we judged the financing rate based on customer income or credit card average limit.
basically customer whose income more than 15k or credit card average limit more than 45k, they are entitled for it. happy.gif

if salary 9k =
9k x 5 = Rm 45k can get based on payslip

if use c/c limit, if got higher limit, can go for max rm75k
it depends. 5 times is for normal company.
if one is working in PCL company, he can go up to 6 times.

if average cc < 45k, only can loan exactly that amount.
if average cc > 45k, one can loan up to 5 times or 100k whichever lower.

r u in price solution? PJ?

as i checked wif OCBC, u only eligible for tat 5.5% if ur employer agreed to deduct the installment thru ur monthly  salary, if im not mistaken la..
*
Bro,

You are wrong already.
Salary deduction is for Corporate Loan. That one is confirm 5.5%-6.5% based on the tenure year you take.
For normal application, whoever have monthly income > RM15k or cc limit RM45k and above are entitled for 5.5%
Tier of interest is quoted by monthly income as below:
1) 2-2.9k : 12%
2) 3-4.9k : 11%
3) 5-9.9k : 9.5%
4) 10-14.9k : 8.5%
5) 15k and above : 5.5%

10s and have a nice day.

somebody from ocbc call me offering personal loan at 8.99%pa. He say that they only check ctos/ccris. they dont check commitment. is it true? that means as long as someone pay everything on time, they will be eligable to borrow, doesnt matter how much they already borrow with other bank! this is very dangerous..no wonder so many people bankrupt at young age...
*
Sorry, sir. I think u'r wrong already.
1 thing here i would like to clarify with you.
ocbc DO NOT HAVE 8.99% rate. u must be mess up with other bank ady.
thanks.

SCB - no penalty charges
u take 10k, after 6 mths want to settle, just inform the bank 1 month earlier, and settle the remaining principle balance.. without any interest for the balance.
what about before 6 months? how much will scb charge for?

Different bank is different.

Some bank will charge you a small fee of penalty (like RM50 or lesser). Most bank requires you to pay at least 4 months of interest, while if you early settlement, then of coz the rest of the months won't be charge interest
CORRECT!
Here, bank will issue the person a cheque of remaining interests once he makes early settlement.
2.5% of outstanding principle will be charged if the person settles it BEFORE half of the tenure year.
Thanks.

For Car Loan, as long as u can meet the requirement (Down-payment) and have proper income every month, bank will loan you ady.
normally car loan is fixed rate from 2-9 years as u like. However, you only can find this at local bank.
Foreign bank dont provide car loan(hire-purchased loan).
Cheers.

If i dont have any income now and i need 10k whether any bank can offer me. what is the interest? If i say i will clear in 2 years, but i clear it in one year, will it penalty?
*
Hi,

Sorry for late reply. Do you have any credit card?
Use credit does not mean u have to pay same rate as credit card which is 17.5% per annum.
We just need to check your credit card information from Bank Negara Malaysia. Then, we will give you the cash which you can do whatever you want without locking your credit card limit.

Here, you have to stay with us half of the tenure year.
Eg, If you choose for 5 years, you have to stay with us 2.5 years. If you choose for 2 years, you have to stay with us 1 years.
After half of the tenure years, you can make early settlement and we will rebate you a portion of the remaining interest.
However, it's still worth if you could make early settlement ANYTIME. It is because the rebate is definitely more than small amount of penalty charge.
Did I answer your question? Thanks.

Sure you do. Once you have credit card already, getting a personal loan would be very easy.
It's because credit card and personal loan are categorized in unsecured lending whereby banks do not take any collateral from you.
Thanks.
