R u a gorvernment servent? If no, I think the chances u get the loan is very low.

For Al Rajhi bank,
the loan amount you can get for private sector workers is,
1) Credit card limit / 3 x 5 (repayment period maximum only 5 years) interest rate 8.5% / annum
2) (Salary + fix allowance) x 5 (repayment period also 5 years max) interest rate 9.99%

If you are interested, u can PM me, I will introduce a agent around your area to u

will probably try shitty bank since someone here mentioned that they are offering 5.xx interest rate and i also have banking facility with them. worse come to worst will probably dig into my stash, no way i am going to pay RM15k interest for a RM30k loan. vmad.gif

try to call citibank CS.
they offer me 0.49% monthly. max 14k.
5.88% year.
more than that, around 9.xx.

maybank offer cheque. (but very little one, rm3k only.)
3% admin fee. payback in 6 month. no other interest.
try call them.

but, please don't enjoy. this is loan (our future income), no our money yet. emergency can be considered.

just a quick update, for citibank, you must have a current account or credit card with them. if not, forget it tongue.gif

samquah,
i think you payment record must be good. it doesn't make sense for them to transfer your credit card debts to a personal loan with 5.xx% interest, as they can probably earn more money from the credit card interest. however pls don't take my word for it, as i do not know anything about personal loan/credit cards. only using logic tongue.gif

I just got a call from a RHB rep for a pre-approved loan for RM100k at 8.5% interest rate and tenure for 5 years. Is this interest rate too high nowdays?

Can I get better offer from any other banks? Please pm me ok. Thank you.

BTW what's up with the personal life insurance that is accompanied with this loan? Is this how they are making more money?
