hi a bank offered me personal loan of RM15K for 7.99% for 5 years. using online calculators, the monthly payment should be RM304.15, but the bank says its RM350 per month. There's no fees or other hidden charges, how are PL payments calculated?

wow these PL interest are so crazy, its more economical to do a Hongleong essential credit card cash advance - 2% fee, 11% per annum REDUCING interest.
Comparison HL cash advance 11% reducing Amount RM9000 Monthly payment - minimum payment duration 8 years 8 months TOTAL INTEREST - RM1,853.15 Personal Loan Amount RM9000 Interest 8% per annum 2 year duration - monthly 434.925 - total interest - 1440 3 year - monthly 310 - total interest 2160 5 year - monthly 210 - total interest 3600 HLB essential cash advance is truly better. as well as alliance bank balance transfer - also reducing rate. moreoever, the more you add to your monthly payment, the more u save |

jags, out of necessity ?
Maybank Amex "reducing interest" is 9% and affinbank CC "reducing interest" is 10%. if u spend RM30K on both cards and be able to pay RM1500 monthly (at least the first few months), you can finish it in less than 3 years with very very low interest. Use this calculator : http://www.fcac-acfc.gc.ca/iTools-iOutils/...ulator-eng.aspx |
