Yeah, There is many way beside compressor. The most cost effective way is setup the AB with a hose and use your mouth to blow. tongue.gif Once you have experience it, you can upgrade to real compressor. icon_rolleyes.gif

LAWL!!! knew it...if it really can make good work by just spraying then nobody would buy compressor in the first place

keke, this is the 1/60 scale exia that i recently finished snap-fitting and pre-sanding with 500 grade sandpaper...im planning to give it a custom color scheme, but havent decided on what really to go for it. once its decided i'll sand it again with 1000 grade then surface xDDD

so far, ive got suggestions from boltguard to do it in Tamama Custom color scheme and another idea is to do it camouflage color  rclxub.gif

comments and ideas on what color scheme to do is appreciated xDDD

hmmm, actually thats what it would more or less look like if its tamama custom lo...all the blue areas become black, red areas become silver, and yellow areas become white...kekeke, but i like the one u did too xDD imagine it with red eyes instead of green, so evil looking XDDDD

wow! gold or chrome...i think i would prefer chrome xDD how do i get the chrome color woh? as in really chrome type, like car rims lidat xDD silver paint alone wont get that kind of effect IMO.

Actually, revell got this pressure gas can which suitable for starter. Not sure it fit with other AB or not.

I saw this gas can in Jusco before, but not sure they still retail it or not. It cheaper than compressor, but like it'll use up of pressure.

If continuous used u will suffer loss of pressure making ur paint become rougher and sprays uneven!
Another choices tat is cheap and easy available is using our cooking gas tank! it is cheap but dangerous to use!

This is my first try on using top coat. The thing is, after I applied topcoat, the paint/ink can still be rubbed off >< then I applied another layer, the result is abit better, but paint/ink can still be rubbed. If u look closely u can see my fingerprints. FYI, i'm only using GM01 fine line marker cos i have limited resource.

I'm guessing I applied insufficient topcoat or I didn't wait long enuf for it to fully dry. wat do u guys think? I watched at gunpla tut and it said topcoat will be dried like for an hour only...but I let it dried for the whole afternoon blink.gif so I'm guessing I applied insufficient topcoat. please correct me if i'm wrong.

btw, wat i did is shading or weathering? i'm confuse wif those two
