oo...humbrol...heard bout it... wad thinner it uses? wont melt plastic ho? and wheres city square...kl?
*
Humbrol is another enamel paint and have a very large range of color. Provided our local store have stock it enough. Humbrol ams tamiya enamel paint is mean for plastic paint, So it is save.

One good think about enamel paint is, it is thin, easy to apply and dry fast.

This badger AB model still avaible? It is very very old model. More than 20+yrs.
By the way,If you want cheap AB and low budget compressor + AB, you can try at this multifilla in balakong. Similiar to this badger model but cheaper price.

yea... there's one guy selling in zero g. wow.. i didn't kno more than 20 years....  shakehead.gif
even though cheap but wun last so long like the good ones... no place to AB also if can afford.. cry.gif
*
This AB is the first AB I use for model kits. Is a low budget AB and outside mixing. Quite Ok for beginner user. The only problem is alway stuck with heavy paint.
Why no place AB? You just need a good ventilate place for minimum AB spec.

sweat.gif yea i saw tat in bulk b4...
no use la.. i cant smell but my room will still hav the smell.. sweat.gif
*
Don't try to AB in a room without windows. The fume and smell can't go away. After your bed sheet and cloth asorb those smell. And the worst, your lung. Better take it to corridor or outside AB. Get a portable compressor + AB that easy to carry around. I DIY my spray booth and channel the fume and smell out using ducting. And use a mask with filter to protect myself.

i just spray on my balcony...for years of spraying never use any booth...lol...maybe im going to die soon...

i on ceiling fan full force then spray...the fume will linger in that area for few minutes...

while ab i will on the fan...but when handbrush...i will off it..cause it will make my paint dry faster...its ok if it dry fast on the kit..but the one that still in the mixing bowl also dry fast doh.gif
*
Better DIY or invest a spray booth. And put on a mask. You don't want die for your hobby. cry.gif I try to use more on acrylic paint. Cause it is water base and less toxic compare laquer and enamel or oil paint. Sometime I spray paint oil paint those very large things, my nose got paint and I can spit out the paint also. Even after put on the mask.

I bought my set of AB + Compressor from them too! And i bought the expensive Compressor which comes with Air Tank & Water gauge! For RM1000+-
Damn i do painting in my living room without fan and mask! I think i will die soon too!
*
That is a good quiet compressor and can last you very2 long time. Makesure you release the water each time you finish AB. The main problem for this compressor is, the tank easlly bocor cause the water rust the tank till it thin. I almost buy that compressor if the uncle can give more discount. Actually I want to replace my 19yrs old compressor.
Wah! didn't realise so many people didn't take the safety seriously. Better start early before regret.

I read before somewhere that water colors are totally non-toxic.  smile.gif  But too bad it doesnt look as good as lacquers la....  theres one hobby shop owner that told me Japan modellers already switching to water colors d.... no more lacquer....  If only gunze sangyo will come up with more choices on water colors...
*
It is an arcylic base paint. Tamiya paint is one of it. Gunze also have arcylic base paint.(different by the bottle cap) I use mostly tamiya paint.

There is a few way to strip the paint that I read from others forum.

1) Soak the parts into the Windex. Can get at ACE hardware.
2) Use CLOROX (household blenching solution). Leave it overnight and brush off with used toothbrush.
3) Can use Easy Off Bang. Spray on the model and brush is off.

All this won't effect your plastic kits.

but their said no more already...  cry.gif

that mr leong said their only have model Paasche USA and their price from Rm 180.00 to Rm 850.00.
*
You mean the compressor + AB no more? The paasche is an airbrush. RM180 for an AB is consider cheap.
