QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jan 14 2020, 07:08 PM) E3 is dying anyway, a lot of major brands are skipping E3also could be due to MS is very likely to showcase their new XSeX with a playable demo unit while Sony isn't ready to showcase PS5 joining E3 without a PS5 while Xbox has a playable demo is gonna be a disaster for Sony no point joining MS in the pissing contest when they're not ready, also could be one of the marketing tactics, wait for MS to announce their plan first only then reveal their own plan to counter it just wait for TGS in Sept, I think there should be a playable demo set by then, with an infinite long queue to it This post has been edited by greyshadow: Jan 15 2020, 09:06 AM |

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Jan 15 2020, 09:01 AM) E3 is dying anyway, a lot of major brands are skipping E3 E3 is still a thing like it or not. People skipping yet they still have their own show during the time of E3, says that E3 is still relevant. If it isn't then they should stop having something to show during E3 haha. Sony just has nothing to show.also could be due to MS is very likely to showcase their new XSeX with a playable demo unit while Sony isn't ready to showcase PS5 joining E3 without a PS5 while Xbox has a playable demo is gonna be a disaster for Sony no point joining MS in the pissing contest when they're not ready, also could be one of the marketing tactics, wait for MS to announce their plan first only then reveal their own plan to counter it just wait for TGS in Sept, I think there should be a playable demo set by then, with an infinite long queue to it Personally I think Sony is way behind this time. They aren't ready to show shit and I have a feeling it might just gonna be delayed as well. Personally best to wait after a year or so, see how thing goes. I just feel Xbox is way ready this time after Xbone doing so bad, but exclusive wise especially JP games, they aren't on par, so for me no point also getting on Xbox, get a PC and could still enjoy the exclusives haha. It's just bad skipping E3. But yes TGS sounds better, especially for Sony. |

Sony just has nothing to show. they already committed to this year end holiday launch for PS5, they can't afford a delay, else they'll face a major shit storms from both fans & investors :lol:Personally I think Sony is way behind this time. But yes TGS sounds better, especially for Sony. if they missed the year end holiday sales rush, the next possible launch date gonna be somewhere in march 2021 if they still have nothing to show, or at least a physical console look after E3, we can be pretty sure Sony is having some problem there or maybe they just wanna avoid another "boomerang controller" fiasco like last time |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 18 2020, 07:23 AM) Still PS3 was better than the xbox360. Because of the red ring of death. Which bring us to the next generation. Heat management is critical. And Microsoft seems to be doing very well on that end with the X-SeX. I hope the PS5 will not overheat/loud fans. |

QUOTE(LegendLee @ Mar 18 2020, 11:48 AM) Still PS3 was better than the xbox360. i mean that it took ps3 few years to catch up, and ps3 got its own problem too. xbox also learned their problem. see tonite what they can announce. i was fedup with sony silence since last year while xbox throwing watever they can. it makes minecraft raytracing looks like a win, since nothing was shown by sony lol.Because of the red ring of death. Which bring us to the next generation. Heat management is critical. And Microsoft seems to be doing very well on that end with the X-SeX. I hope the PS5 will not overheat/loud fans. |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Mar 19 2020, 01:38 AM) so most likely Xbox will be more expensive.i am expecting ps5 price at 450USD-499USD and Xbox at 550USD-599USD though even until now still no PS5 outlook. men i want to see how is the PS5 console design and everything. but i like what i see in Xbox side though. very elegant and minimalist tower looking yet extremely powerful PC... i mean console. QUOTE(even_steven @ Mar 19 2020, 02:10 AM) Its ok. Xbox 1 X also have better spec but we knew how that turned out. yes price might be cheaper that's true. We shall see how that turns out.I think Sony is aiming for a competitive price at launch. It would be nice to have a beefier spec though, but price does matter. |

i see ps5 presentation and external storage use nvme ssd that available in market, xbox series-x external storage use custom ssd and the price will be expensive, also the loading time in ps5 is faster than xbox series x.
