Only the popular ones will have re-releases as "Playstation the Best" or "Playstation Hits" during the console's lifetime.

Also, the cheaper physical re-releases does not look as good as the original releases in a physical game collection display.
I have the PS3 Uncharted "the Best" white label re-release and it looks out of place when put alongside my PS3 Uncharted 2 & 3 black label collection.

Told you guys it'd be $399 and $499.

Annnounced via today’s PS5 showcase, the PS5 will be out on November 12 doe US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, while the rest of the world gets it on November 19! The next-gen console will have two price points: the discless version will retail for $399, while the one with the disc drive wil sell for $499.

Anyone knows whether ps5 can play ps4 physical disc games? Might opt with ps5 disk drive version if it does support backward compability for physical copies.

i think it will, because if not, those buy ps4 disc then say got free upgrade game how? lol.. but it creates another issue to sony, later ppl buy 2nd hand game ps4 then free upgrade to ps5 game. like tat might as well dont sell ps5 game disc lol. im talking about those free upgrade one like cyberpunk, borderlands3 etc..

My launch PS4 is still alive and kicking. I might hold off till next year to buy a ps5

no dolby atmos and dolby vision, can go fly kite le ps5. maybe still using dolby digital plus

After all this year of buying console at launch or as soon as possible for play station.... Guess now I too old and loose the passion to just play any game at launch. Will just let it launch and cool down with more exclusive game then only purchase.

Honestly speaking.... PS4 I have so many game never play or purchase. God of War I still haven't even finish. Then spider man horizon and etc all bought and nvr touch. Just wonder I should drop this hobby all together.

for me gaming is rooted in my soul and my mind. I cant drop gaming, but i can play less. I can dont play either, but i just cant help to quit gaming, i just cant. I have the same feeling like u, time to time, i still got the hangat to play games. Maybe i think you should find the inner fire to re-ignite the passion. Not many games can do so, but so far games from sony exclusive like last of us, god of war all memang make me wanna cont playing.

now is just to decide all digital or physical. physical good is can buy 2nd hand game. ps5 games aint cheap, so 2nd hand game might come in handy.

Same here, the gaming interest in me slowly fades away as i age.

For me is becoz i got 2 younger kids.... the TV seem to belong to them more than belong to me now. If i were to play game they will most likely hijack the controller from me and play but as PS4 games are just too complicated for them they dont find joy in them... and i have to layan them.

I think the main reason that i might be getting the disc version is to have the PS5 playing 4k bluray...

Still weighing to get digital or disc system.

Currently i am full fledge digital with my PS4.

Any thoughts guys??

if ps5 no support dolby atmos and vision, u use for bluray also ur bluray is worthless. u only enjoy the puny hdr10 which is huge diff compare to dolby vision compare same tv.
