Your battery life is great.
SC replaced me another new battery last Thursday since under warranty.
SC claims that the 1st replacement battery health is 100%, no issue at all. but they still changed a new 1 to me.
They said if still not lasting, possible due to my apps issue (many apps running) or maybe my phone motherboard issue.

Best SOT 5 hours with 30% battery balance. At least better than the 1st battery change.
Wait for EMUI12 and see any miracle can happen.

The other day i was helping my mom to configure/troubleshoot her mate 20 phone, which is like 3 years old. She is in her 60s and you know they don't care about the phone. Drop the phone, filled the phone with lotsa apps and photos and whatever bullshit. She watches Youtube and surfs and video calls with relatives all the time.

And when i was helping her to set up some apps. I realise wow the phone is still so butter smooth! even one of my colleagues who owns a P20 commented that the phone seems to work well despite the years.

Feel really sad for Huawei though, the victim of america's hatred, insecurity and jealousy mostly. They always want to be the most supreme.

Agreed. Next phone hard to choose new brand. Can't choose Huawei due to work and many commercial app especially bank app won't work well without proper Google Play Store.

Mainboard replace which mean all data gone,
but thanks to previous backup data and Google Contacts,

SC replaced the mainboard with upgraded version of 8GB RAM & 256GB ROM (storage),
Now my phone feel slightly smoother & faster than before ..
(Placebo effect )



Mainboard cost me RM339 exclude labour due to repalce multiple parts within a month.

Ermmm, don't think it can since both phones hardware slight different. Unless yours is Mate10Pro 64GB,
and the 64GB ROM mainboard out of stock but 128GB have stock,
Probably SC will recommend such upgrade lor.

My mate10 pro last 2 month went SC wanted to change new battery, but after checking, they found my motherboard got prob , but cant replace as Huawei no more produce motherboard for mate10 pro. So now I waiting to change new phone....

Same goes to my old P9Plus (broken screen),
Early of the Y2021 still have available spare parts but I drag until last year year end thought wanna do together with my Mate20Pro battery replacement,
End up no more spare parts available except battery ,
Sad die me..

I dont see any new models thats appealing for camera and IR functionality, that is my most wanted requirement.

I also no choice only replaced the faulty mainboard,
In fact I have bought Honor 50 5G from Telco under normal contract,
But eventually I still using Mate20Pro and keep the new phone under my bed..

i sell my mate 20 and replace with mate 20 pro 8/256 due to memory space. when hold in hand, pro is more comfortable and easy to handle and carry. its actually just slightly taller than p30, using both now. was thinking replace the mate 20 with samsung note 20 plus but eventually still choose mate20pro because note 10+ not comfy to hold and already used to huawei emui for years.
hoping honor can produce real flagship phone like huawei very soon. to replace my m20pro.

Why ya? My storage is rather full now since its only 128Gb, with 256Gb, bolehlah pakai for another 2-3yrs!!! hahaha
