Purely personal use no issue but if use for company such as company's bank apps then unable to use.

I believe there are a lot of 2nd mate 40 pro. Some of them only used 2-3 months. Just buy that one.

For those who are using Mate 30/40 Pro here

I am currently running on EMUI 11, Android 10, installing my corporate's work profile currently doesn't work for me because the corporate's Google Play Store and Google Play Services will prompt my device with certificate errors and that had caused me unable to install any of those apps that my corporate pre-set in the work profile

Would like to know, if anyone who had encounter similar issue like me, if you had tried to downgrade the EMUI from 11 to 10, and if that will actually solve the problem or not?

Did you try to download g-space and use it for your company? Just curious.

Without GMS, all won't work unless you try to install your own but you will be responsible for your company security if any issue arise from it.

use web version lo. already know this phone dont have gms so if your requirement for work uses google platform then should have avoided getting this phone. my work place uses microsoft platform - no issue with hms except the microsoft authentication app but that can easily replace using sms verification. outlook, excel, powerpoint, one drive all no problem.

What do you mean by force 4G, if your sim is new, then in majority of the areas, you should be getting 4G.

If not try to remove your APN in Mobile data setting and it install a new APN from your provider.

Or maybe on the mobile data all time?

In some place that have weak 4G connection, connection will change between 2G & 4G.

On other android phone by using *#*#4636#*#* , you can force connection to 4G only but seem like Kirin Processer not supported this feature.

which google app you face problem? so far i think the main issue is g-drive, gmail and keep. fyi huawei did not force hms on to the phone, the mate 30/40 is suppose to be hms only as usa regime ban google from working with huawei.

if you prev got google working with mate 30/40, it is via hack so i would think a major emui update will break the mod. i suppose you can either use web version of the google services or look for mod to allow the phone to work with gms. maybe you can try g-space - i have not used it so can't comment much.

having said all that - my mate 10, p40 pro and mate 40 pro is AWESOME haha. satisfaction is higher compared to my experience with apple, samsung and xiaomi.
